President Trump’s notorious use of social media to voice his no-holds-barred opinions has now become the stuff of legend, with folks on both sides of the political spectrum eagerly awaiting each new entry on Twitter with delicious anticipation.

Well, early Wednesday morning, the president definitely delivered a doozy guaranteed to satisfy the hunger for more of his unfiltered truth telling.

Trump annihilated former FBI Director James Comey with one early morning tweet, saying he was the “worst FBI Director in history.”

Ouch.

The Washington Examiner has the details:

President Trump said Wednesday that James Comey was the “worst FBI Director in history,” and his firing a year ago had nothing to do with the Russia investigation.

“Slippery James Comey, the worst FBI Director in history, was not fired because of the phony Russia investigation where, by the way, there was NO COLLUSION (except by the Dems)!” Trump tweeted.

Trump has repeatedly said Comey wasn’t fired as a result of investigating Russian collusion with his aides, and instead says he was acting on the recommendation of his Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who wrote a memo outlining the mistakes Comey made investigating Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Boom goes the dynamite!

A man with the level of clearance, authority, and responsibility that Comey had has an obligation to keep his own private political opinions to himself and to do his job to help uphold justice and enforce the law fairly on behalf of the citizens of this great country.

Comey failed miserably in this department.

Not only in his leaking information, but by allowing Hillary Clinton to skate away from breaking the law with her email snafu. He added to the corruption of a legal system the vast majority of Americans already do not trust.

This man absolutely deserves every drop of criticism he receives for the lackluster performance he gave at the Department of Justice.
