President Trump appears to be playing the mediator between Iran and Israel.
In a Truth Social post on Monday morning President Trump announced Israel and Iran are in the process of making an immediate ceasefire.
Trump’s statement comes a day after Iran launched missiles on Israel which resulted in Israel to launch their own strikes on central Iran.

Both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate CEASEFIRE!
ADVERTISEMENTFinal negotiations on “Peace” are proceeding, subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way. The Blockade will remain in place, and in full force and effect, until a “Final Deal” is reached.
Things should move quickly.

CNN reported Israel has now accepted Trump’s request to stop strikes on Iran:
Israel will accept the Trump administration’s request to halt strikes on Iran but will continue attacks on southern Lebanon, two Israeli sources told CNN.
One of the sources characterized the situation as “very fragile” given the Iranian threat to strike Israel again if it continues attacking Lebanon.
Iran announced earlier on Monday that it is suspending its military operation against Israel but threatened to resume it if Israel continues strikes on Lebanon.
