Last night at the Gridiron Dinner, President Trump cracked a few jokes. The best line of the night:

“I do want to say this is one of the best times I can ever remember having with the media,” he said. “This might be the most fun I’ve had since watching your faces on election night.”

He also joked about the recent chaos at the White House.

In the past week, Hope Hicks announced her resignation. John Kelly is being questioned about the handling of Rob Porter.

Trump called out Jeff Sessions for recusing himself:

“I offered him a ride over and he recused himself.”

One of the best lines the night was about Jared Kushner‘s downgraded security clearance:

President Trump said, “We were late tonight because Jared could not get through security.”

The president’s speech included references to both Sessions and Kushner, but he also said this:

“So many people have been leaving the White House,” Trump joked. “It’s actually been really exciting and invigorating ’cause you want new thoughts. So I like turnover. I like chaos. It is really good. Now, the question everybody keeps asking: Who’s going to be the next to leave, Steve Miller or Melania?”

Because the left can’t take a joke, that comment is causing a buzz on social media this morning.

Another joke that has raised eyebrows from the left is the one President Trump told about China. Trump said the Chinese leader has just become leader for life. He said we should try that too. Of course, the left is going crazy about that line…We can hear it now: “TRUMP WANTS TO BE DICTATOR!”

There’s never been a better president at trolling the media…this POTUS is awesome!
