Now, before we get into this story, it must be known that the source of the story is from the left-leaning Axios, so take it with a grain of salt.
A new report by Axios has claimed that President Trump lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In the phone call, President Trump reportedly told Netanyahu that he was “f*cking crazy” for his recent military escalations in Lebanon.
Trump also reportedly told Netanyahu that he would be in prison if it weren’t for him.
Read Axios‘ exclusive report on the phone call below:
President Trump lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel’s escalation in Lebanon in an expletive-laden call on Monday, two U.S. officials and a third source briefed on the call told Axios.
Earlier on Monday, Iran threatened to abandon the negotiations with the U.S. over Israel’s actions in Lebanon. On the call, Trump called Netanyahu “crazy” and accused him of ingratitude, according to two of the sources. He also put the brakes on Israel’s plan to strike Beirut.
One U.S. official said Trump told Netanyahu that following through on his threats to bomb the Lebanese capital would further isolate Israel around the world.
Two of the sources said Trump claimed he’d helped keep Netanyahu out of jail — a reference to his support during Netanyahu’s corruption trial.
Summarizing Trump’s remarks to Netanyahu, the U.S. official said: “You’re fucking crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this.”
A second source briefed on the call said Trump was “pissed” and at one point yelled at Netanyahu: “What the fuck are you doing?”
The U.S. official said Trump knew Hezbollah had been shooting at Israel and that Israel needed to defend itself, but felt in recent days that Netanyahu was escalating in a disproportionate way.
Fox News host Mark Levin seems to believe the report is legitimate:

THE LEAK IN AXIOS WAS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW AND PROVIDED SUPPORT TO THE IRANIAN REGIME AND ITS HEZBOLLAH PROXY
ADVERTISEMENTWhomever leaked that story to Barack Ravid at Axios did a grave disservice to our country, to our president, to Israel, and to Israel’s prime minister. The Iranian regime will benefit from that leak, viewing us as weak and desperate for a deal — even coming to Hezbollah’s defense. The Israeli people will also be furious. The missiles are aimed at them, not Washington. And for 100 other reasons, what was thought to be a devasting political hit on Netanyahu by the leakers about a private call between heads of state has done much damage to us and our military and our diplomatic strategy. And if the leakers or others believe Israel should abandon its survival for some deal, they will have a very hard lesson to learn. If the substance of the call is accurate, it is bad enough in my view.
Will there be an FBI investigation to determine who leaked? If not, why not?
The report came just moments after Netanyahu and Trump posted two different thoughts on their call:

Fox News reported more on the current conversations between Netanyahu and Trump:
President Donald Trump said Monday that he persuaded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call off striking Beirut, saying the Israeli leader “turned his troops around” after their conversation.
“I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu today, asking him not to conduct a major raid on Beirut, Lebanon,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
“He turned his troops around. Thank you, Bibi!” he added.
“I also had a conversation with representatives of the leaders of Hezbollah, and they agreed to stop shooting at Israel and its soldiers,” Trump added before stating that “Israel agreed to stop shooting at them. Let’s see how long that lasts. Hopefully, it will be for eternity!” he said.
Trump’s remarks came after Netanyahu said Israel would hit “terror targets” in Beirut if Hezbollah did not stop attacking Israel.
