I have seen and covered a lot about President Trump and politics over the last 10 years…

Some days I think I’ve seen and heard it all, but other times like right now something comes up that I have NEVER heard before.

I think because President Trump has never before shared this story until today.

Ten years in the making!

President Trump revealed Ben Carson told him he (Trump) was going to win because God wanted him to win!

The hilarious part is that Carson still stayed in the race for a while after that before eventually dropping out.

Should I tell them the story about what you said to me, Ben? The famous words?

He was a very tough opponent. We were fighting it out and we had actually 18 candidates, including me. And Ben came up to me right after the first debate, he said, “You know you’re gonna win, don’t you?”

And I said, “No, I don’t know that. Think I’m gonna win, but I don’t know it.” 18 people and I had never done it before. They had all done it, they were all governors and senators, talented people.

He said, “No, you’re gonna win it because God wants you to win it.” Yep. Yeah. But that didn’t stop him. We went through, I said, “When is this guy gonna quit?” You know.

He gave me these words of beauty, then he goes for weeks and weeks, he was tough. He was, oh, he was a tough one. But we love Ben. Ben’s special and we appreciate it. Thanks.

In fact (no pun intended) I know when they label something as "False" it means we're probably hitting very close to the truth and they're in damage control mode.

I don't know, but I know each time I have watched that video a powerful wave of emotion wells up from deep within me, and I DO know what that is.
