President Trump’s drug-pricing push stopped being a talking point this week and started showing up as actual numbers on a public website.
On June 2, 2026, the White House and CMS-backed accounts rolled out a batch of TrumpRx updates. The headline figure: 160 new drugs added.
The White House framed TrumpRx as a transparency tool, not a vague promise. The idea is simple: let people see what a medication costs before they pay for it.
160 new drugs added. Hundreds of millions of dollars saved for American patients.
"[TrumpRx] is a transparency site. It gives everybody the ability to make important decisions about medications they’re purchasing with full knowledge of what the cost of those medications are." -… pic.twitter.com/w2Rlo0xfb9

That same account posted a second update aimed squarely at older Americans. It said eligible beneficiaries on Medicare will be allowed to obtain GLP products for $50 a month.
That detail matters, so the wording should stay precise: eligible Medicare beneficiaries and GLP products, not every patient and every drug.

The official site puts the broader argument in direct terms.
TrumpRx.gov says:
$400,000,000+
Saved for AmericansBeing healthy should be easy—and affordable.
Take control of your wellbeing with the world’s best prices on the medications you need. Now, with hundreds of generics.
America was being overcharged for medicine.
The same drugs, made in the same factories, at the same dosages, were costing Americans up to 1000% more than in any other country. This is unacceptable.
Thanks to President Trump, the days of Big Pharma price-gouging are over. Leveraging the full weight and power of the United States of America, the President has ensured every American gets the lowest prices on prescription medications in the developed world.
Introducing Most-Favored-Nation pricing, guaranteeing huge savings for Americans.
This is the most impactful prescription price reset in the history of our country. It puts more money in Americans’ pockets and finally brings care back within reach.
The price examples are the kind of numbers people can actually understand.
TrumpRx.gov lists Wegovy Pill at $149 a month against a $1,349 original price. The Wegovy Pen shows $199 against the same $1,349 original price.
Ozempic is listed at $199 a month versus $1,028, and Zepbound is listed at $299 versus $1,087.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the TrumpRx site displayed more than $400,000,000 saved for Americans.
DrOzCMS posted a separate same-day count that put the numbers even higher, pointing to 12 million visitors and roughly $500 million in savings.

The two savings figures are separate public counts, but they point in the same direction: the administration is putting pressure on drug pricing in a way regular people can see.
For seniors and working families squeezed by pharmacy bills, that is the part that matters. The prices are posted, the savings are climbing, and the public can check the numbers for themselves.
