President Trump said he would purchase a brand new Tesla in a show of “confidence and support for Elon Musk.”
“To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby,’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for,” Trump said.
“They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American,” he continued.
“Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???” he added.

From the Associated Press:
Others have also rallied to Musk’s defense. Alex Jones, a prominent conspiracy theorist, said that he bought a customized version of a Cybertruck that he’ll give away to a customer of his online store next month.
ADVERTISEMENTIn addition to Tesla’s struggles, Musk has faced other challenges too. He said X was targeted by a “massive cyberattack” that disrupted the social media platform on Monday, and the last two test launches of his Starship rocket ended in explosions.
The White House did not immediately elaborate on Trump’s plans for buying a Tesla, such as how the purchase would be handled or where the car would be kept.

Fox News host Sean Hannity announced on his show that he recently purchased a Tesla.

Per Just the News:
Hannity said on his show Monday night that he recently bought a new Tesla to support Musk.
“I went and already picked up the one I want,” he said, adding that he chose Tesla Model S Plaid. “Maybe it’s just a gesture on my part, and I like new technology, but it’s just a way of saying, ‘Look at what they’re doing to this guy.'”
Hannity also conducted a poll on X, asking his followers which Tesla he should give away on his radio show, offering Model S/Cybertruck, 3, X and Y as options.
Model S/Cybertruck won in the poll with 66.8% voting for that model.
Musk thanked Trump and Hannity on his X account for supporting him and his company.
Telsa lost $125 billion in value during the stock market decline Monday, over fears of Trump’s tariff and a resulting recession.
