Comedian Rosie O’Donnell has had a longstanding feud with President Donald Trump that dates back to before his first term in the White House.

This week, O’Donnell confirmed that she had fled the U.S. to live in Ireland, and Trump referenced her international move during an event with Irish leader Micheal Martin.

The exchange began when a reporter asked Martin why he would “let Rosie O’Donnell move to Ireland” given its reputation “for very happy, fun-loving people,” as Breitbart reported:

“I like that question,” a laughing President Trump says before asking Irish political leader Micheál Martin, “Did you know you have Rosie O’Donnell? Do you know who she is?”

Martin turned to Trump and then reporters, laughing.

“You’re better off not knowing,” Trump said to laughter in the room.

O’Donnell was inundated with social media criticism after announcing her relocation:

O’Donnell — who says she’s in the process of getting Irish citizenship, because her grandparents were born in the country — points to the fraught political situation in the United States of America as the reason for her move.

Rosie says, “When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back … It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know.”

Of course, Rosie has a longstanding feud with President Trump … who once said during a political debate the only woman he refers to as a “fat pig,” a “dog,” and a “slob” is Rosie herself.

And in light of that news, I had to flashback to my favorite Donald Trump video of all time....

Yes, that's an almost impossibly high bar, but this is it, it has to be.

The Donald Trump SMACK DOWN of Rosie O'Donnell is the most epic verbal beatdown you will ever see of any person ever.

This was back in the 90's I think when Trump and Rosie got into a feud.

Trump was interviewed and he let loose about his thoughts on Rosie.

Honestly, it's hard to pick a favorite line because there are so many good ones and it just gets better and better as it goes.  I get a new favorite line each time I watch it!

The moment was later revived when Megyn Kelly tried to ambush President Trump about it in the first debate, but that backfired in spectacular fashion when Trump so quickly on his feet shot back "Only Rosie O'Donnell" and the crowd erupted!

At first, Megyn Kelly looked pissed and tried to continue her question to no avail, but as the crowd grew louder and louder and she started to realize what had just happened, you can see the exact moment where she accepts she has been bested by Trump and a slight smile emerges from her face as if to say "well played Donald, you beat me on this one."

Well Rosie O'Donnell's disgusting, I mean both inside and out. You take a look at her—she's a slob and she talks like a truck driver. Rosie attacked me personally because I was very happy when her talk show failed, and the other thing that failed—this was a real monster—and everybody was suing her. Her magazine, a magazine called Rosie, was a total disaster, so I loved it.

I gloat over it. I think it's wonderful because I like to see bad people fail. Rosie failed, and I'm happy about it—she's basically a disaster. Well, she called me a snake oil salesman, you know, coming from Rosie.

That's pretty low because when you look at her and see her mind, the mind is weak. I don't see it, I don't get it. I never understood how she even gets on television. I believe Barbara made a terrible mistake putting her on, and I think Barbara's probably paying a big price.

If I were running The View, I'd fire Rosie. I mean, I'd look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers and say, "Rosie, you're fired." We're all a little chubby, but Rosie's just worse than most of us.

But it's not the chubbiness—Rosie is a very unattractive person both inside and out. Rosie is very lucky to have her girlfriend, and she better be careful or I'll send one of my friends over to pick up her girlfriend. Why would she stay with Rosie if she had another choice? She's trying to use ABC and The View to get even with me, but with me, we fight back.

I'll probably sue Rosie because she doesn't tell the facts. As an example, I'm worth many billions of dollars now. She said I was bankrupt—I never went bankrupt—so I'd probably sue her because it would be fun. I'd like to take some money out of her fat ass pockets.

I actually think they ought to look at her whole life and see where she's coming from because I think she's got some very deep-seated problems. Perhaps it should be Rosie that goes to rehab. Rosie is a loser. One of the things people love about you is that you speak your mind and you don't use a politician's filter; however, that is not without its downsides.

In particular, when it comes to women, you've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals. Your Twitter account—only Rosie O'Donnell, know it—wasn't your Twitter account. Thank you.
