Almost immediately after President Trump announced the withdrawal of US forces from Syria, Democrats and their allies the media suddenly and predictably become hawkish on keeping our troops in an endless war.
The Hill – The White House announced the withdrawal of U.S. forces abruptly late Sunday after Trump spoke with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The U.S. military partnered with the Syrian Democratic Forces, led by the Kurds, in operations against ISIS. Turkey considers the Syrian Kurds to be a terrorist group.
Syrian Democratic Forces have denounced Trump’s decision as a “stab in the back.”
The Trump administration has sought to contain the scrutiny over the past days, insisting the president did not give a “green light” to Turkey to conduct the operation and that he made clear to Erdoğan that there would be consequences for Turkey if Kurdish forces were harmed.
“I will wipe out his economy if that happens,” Trump told reporters Wednesday. “I hope that he will act rationally.”
Trump also insisted his decision had “tremendous support” outside Washington and noted he campaigned on withdrawing the U.S. from “endless wars.”
President Trump spoke to the media today to explain his decision to pull our troops out of Syria. An emotional Trump talked about the “hardest thing I have had to do as President…”
“The hardest thing I have to do— by far—much harder than the witch hunt even—is signing letters to parents of soldiers who’ve been killed,” Trump said. “Sometimes I call the parents, sometimes I see them,” an emotional Trump told the media.

32 year USAF combat vet Col. Rob Maness defended our commander in chief’s decision:
Until you have walked in a commanders shoes, you have no clue what goes into the decision to risk the lives of our wonderful American military volunteers. Watch and learn as you contemplate the faux angst over #Syria
Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) tweeted:
For those now advocating the US to get involved in another mid-east war, know that Congress has the sole power under Art. 1 to declare war. We have not done so. And how bout we protect our borders with as much gusto as the Left wants to protect Syria’s border. #EndlessWars
