President Trump’s administration is waiving interest on federal student loans for a period of at least 60 days, with President Trump saying that this is “good news for the students.”

✔ Temporarily waiving all interest on federal student loans

✔ Not enforcing standardized tests

✔ Student loan payments are suspended for 60 days

During the coronavirus press conference today, Peter Alexander lobbed an attack at President Trump disguised as a question accusing the president of giving a false sense of hope to Americans.

Alexander asked: “What do you say to millions of people who are scared?”

Trump called him out: “I say that you are a terrible reporter…. It’s a nasty question.”

Then CNN’s Kaitlin Collins had a mini-meltdown in Alexander’s defense.
