President Trump just unloaded on Tucker Carlson in one of his most blistering attacks yet.

In a late-night Truth Social post, the president called Carlson a “very Low I.Q. individual” and declared that the former Fox News host is a “loser” whose audience will only keep shrinking.

But this was bigger than another round of political name-calling. President Trump tied Carlson to Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene, three former allies now openly trying to build a political force outside the president’s MAGA coalition.

The central charge spread quickly Saturday morning:

Trump Says Carlson’s Influence Is Collapsing

Full transcript of President Trump’s Truth Social post:

Tucker Carlson just met with Lightweight “Former” Congressman, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie “Traitor” Greene, LOSERS ALL! Tucker’s “Views” have fallen through the floor, and will only get worse.

Nobody cares about him any longer in that he has become totally irrelevant, and happens to be, surprisingly, a very Low IQ individual. He could barely get out of College, and maybe he didn’t, but only really dumb people can’t make it through that wonderful four year time in life!

Tucker wants to run for political office, but he should be required to take a cognitive test. He’s got no chance, but could probably take a couple of points away from whomever the Republican ticket happens to be!

Tucker is a loser, and always has been! Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green turns to Brown under stress!), a highly neurotic young woman, went from Ultra Conservative to a Liberal “Fool,” all in a matter of weeks, because I refused to return her phone calls — Not because I didn’t like her, just because I had no time.

She was way down in the Polls in Georgia (because I took away my Endorsement), and would have had no chance at winning, so she, just like everyone else, “QUIT!” Thomas Massie has turned out to be a failed politician, and a real JERK.

He thought it was really wonderful to vote, “NO,” on everything, no matter how good, strong, or proper the Legislation would be. What a team this would be, THREE LOSERS, and a pocketful of change!

The only chance they have is to join the Radical Left Dumocrats, and try breaking into the Primary System. To all of them I say, PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!

President DONALD J. TRUMP

In his Truth Social post, President Trump said Carlson had recently met with Massie and Greene and branded the trio “LOSERS ALL.” He argued that Carlson’s views have fallen sharply, called him irrelevant, and predicted his numbers would continue to get worse.

President Trump also accused Carlson of eyeing political office and said he should have to take a cognitive test before running. He claimed Carlson would pull votes from the Republican nominee but would have no real chance of winning.

The president did not stop there.

He mocked Greene over their bitter split and said Massie had become a failed politician who made a habit of voting against Republican legislation. He closed by arguing that the group’s only hope would be to join forces with Democrats and disrupt the Republican primary system.

The message was unmistakable: President Trump sees Carlson’s emerging coalition as a threat worth crushing before it grows.

A Former Ally Fires Back

Greene responded by accusing President Trump of lashing out with “lies” and insults after a difficult rally and unfavorable polling. She argued that the attack was driven by political weakness, not confidence.

The bad blood has been building for months.

Earlier in August, Greene posted a photo of herself gathered with Carlson, Massie, former Trump administration official Joe Kent, and others. She said President Trump had betrayed the no-more-foreign-wars promise that helped bring many voters into the MAGA coalition and announced that “the movement has begun.”

Carlson then declared that MAGA had been betrayed and promised a new path forward. That public break turned a feud into something much more serious: an organized challenge for voters who still identify with America First but no longer support the Republican Party under President Trump.

Carlson Says He Wants A New Party—Not A Candidacy

There is one important point in dispute.

President Trump suggested Carlson wants to seek political office. Carlson has publicly said the opposite.

In a July interview with the Columbia Journalism Review, Carlson said he intends to help build a third party because he believes Republicans and Democrats move together on war and finance. When asked directly whether he wanted to become that party’s candidate, Carlson said no.

Since then, Carlson has used his enormous media platform to press the case for a political realignment. His criticism of President Trump has centered on the Iran war, foreign influence, the Epstein files, and what he views as the Republican Party’s abandonment of its own voters.

That is why the president’s attack matters.

The fight now reaches far beyond a personal dispute between two famous men. It is a battle over who gets to define America First after President Trump—and whether Carlson, Greene, and Massie can peel away enough voters to damage Republicans in the midterms or shape the 2028 race.

Massie Says Trump Should Have Listened

Massie answered the president by tying the feud to policy failures and the coming midterm elections. He argued that President Trump attacked the trio because they had warned him against decisions now creating political pain.

President Trump’s position is just as clear: Carlson’s influence is fading, his coalition is made up of political losers, and any third-party effort would help Democrats by splitting the right.

That question will not be settled by a social-media exchange.

It will be settled by voters—and President Trump has now made it unmistakably clear that he intends to fight Carlson for every one of them.
