President Trump welcomed a diverse range of religious leaders to the White House for the National Day of Prayer event today (VIDEO BELOW). The Rose Garden ceremony was a beautiful display of togetherness and brotherhood amongst many religions.  Vice President Pence welcomed everyone and then President Trump spoke. A great event, right? Well, the press made it not so great with their rudeness:

The event was disrupted before and after by rude reporters. CNN was on live at the ceremony reporting about the “Stormy Daniels” controversy.

Andrew Beatty reported:

Slightly awkward moment in the Rose Garden as National Day of Prayer reception guests await the president. All quiet except for the sound a CNN reporter doing piece to camera about Stormy Daniels. Some giggles some questioning glances.

The press should be prohibited from events if they can’t zip it. This was a disgrace as reception guests were gathered waiting for President Trump to come out to speak. They’re lucky that all they got was “some giggles and some questioning glances”.

AFTER THE EVENT, A REPORTER SCREAMED AT THE PRESIDENT:

Daily Caller reports:

As the president was leaving the event, an unidentified reporter screamed “What about Story Daniels?”

Stormy Daniels is a porn star who alleges she had an affair with Trump. The two are embroiled in legal battles over payments Trump’s attorney made to her.

The question, yelled at religious event, disgusted some in the audience. Daily Caller White House correspondent Saagar Enjeti says the question prompted an angry “shame on you” from one of the attendees, directed at the press pen.

Enjeti says that “several” guests of the religious ceremony were visibly upset at the press.

At Day of Prayer in Rose Garden NBC reporter @kwelkernbc shouts ques to @realDonaldTrump asking why he’s changing his “story” on Stormy Daniels. An audience member shouted, “Shame on you. Shame on all of you.”
