After a third try to get into the US, Nahum Rivas-Rivera will be facing immigration charges for felony re-entry and will be held pending a disposition from the court.

U.S. Border Patrol agents near Naco, Ariz. apprehended Rivas-Rivera who had been previously convicted for murder in Baltimore, Maryland. He served ONE YEAR before being deported. It’s no wonder he wants to come back for more. He only got a very light slap on the wrist for the last murder.

CBP reports:

Agents from the Brian A. Terry Station patrolling near the international border apprehended two men who illegally entered the country. During records checks at the station, agents identified 37-year-old Nahum Rivas-Rivera, convicted in 2006 of first-degree murder in Baltimore, Maryland, where he served one year in prison before being deported.

Rivas-Rivera was deported but continued to try and get into the US. If we had the wall, wouldn’t it be so much easier to keep felons like this out of our country?
