Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker was fantastic today during the hearing before the Judiciary Committee! He took all of the slings and arrows from Democrats and came out looking like a winner. The Democrats all looked petty and angry.

One of the best moments of the day had to be when Whitaker mocked showboating Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler. It was right before recess and Whitaker took advantage of the moment. He mocked Nadler’s previous admonishment (see below) regarding the 5 minute limit on questioning:

“The committee will stand in recess for 5 minutes.”

Acting AG Whitaker: “I get 5 minutes for lunch?”

OUR PREVIOUS REPORTS ON WHITAKER FROM TODAY’S TESTIMONY:

The showboating from Democrats on the Judiciary Committee today was sickening. Each one of the members of the Judiciary Committee had the chance to do their best to humiliate Acting AG Whitaker to get their soundbite on the nightly news.

The best part about the ridiculous grandstanding was the push back from Whitaker. He was fantastic! Rep. Doug Collins was also pushing back hard on the Democrats as you’ll see in the video below. The ridiculous thing is that Whitaker is gone in two weeks when Barr comes in to be Attorney General for President Trump. The hearing was all a  sick show by Democrats for the cameras.

Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker was on fire today during questioning from rude Democrats like Sheila Jackson-Lee and Jerrold Nadler.

He also slammed Democrat Rep. Swalwell for his line of questions with a classic comment:

“I am not here to be a puppet…”

The first video is of Rep. Collins who is fantastic. He comes right back at Swalwell after Swalwell gets snarky with him. The video below this is the one where Whitaker says he’s “not a puppet.”

The entire hearing was a ridiculous practice in just trying to make someone look bad. In this case, it was Whitaker, but he slapped right back at the rude Democrats. He’s a fighter!

Here are the two exchanges with Jackson-Lee and with Nadler where Whitaker isn’t going to play their games:

Whoa! Sheila Jackson Lee tries her best to embarrass Acting AG Whitaker but fails. She bullied him and lectured him in an embarrassing exchange that only made her look bad.

“Mr. Attorney General, we’re not joking here, and your humor is not acceptable,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee tells Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker in the contentious moment.

“I need to have my time restored so that you can behave appropriately.”

Jackson-Lee goes on to be downright rude to Whitaker!

Jackson-Lee is behaving like she’s the queen of the court and is shocked that anyone would push back on her. Her behavior is insulting.

She’s asking Whitaker questions and won’t let him answer. The ridiculousness of the hearing is showing because of the line of questioning. Whitaker will be out of the job of Acting AG in two weeks! Why even question him?

It’s obvious the Democrats are out to embarrass Whitaker. Earlier today, Jerrold Nadler bullied Whitaker too:

Acting AG Whitacker is testifying today on the Hill and is doing a fantastic job! This is obviously a grandstanding move by Nadler and Democrats. The questions are aggressive and suggestive of corruption. Ranking Member Doug Collins of Georgia described the hearing best:

“This hearing is a character assassination on Acting Attorney General Whitaker, all pure political theater, to go after the president.”

Rep. Jerrold Nadler attempted to ask leading questions of Whitacker until the Acting AG had to push back on the questioning:

“Mr. Chairman, I see that your five minutes is up, so…

You can hear the people in the room gasp dramatically.

I am here voluntarily. We have agreed to five-minute rounds.”

Nadler chuckles and is loving his new position as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. Dolt.

Another leading question from Nadler:

“I have not interfered…”

Whitacker’s Opening Statement:

Nadler had threatened to subpoena Whitaker, but Whitaker pushed back and said he wouldn’t testify unless Nadler dropped the subpoena.

The hearing is all an exercise in futility because President Trump has a new AG coming in two weeks and because the Democrats have NOTHING on President Trump:

The Senate Intel Chair also just announced that after a two-year witchhunt, the Intel Committee had found no Trump cooperation with Russia:

After dragging America and our current President of the United States through a two-year witch hunt of President Trump, his advisors and members of his campaign, as well as Trump family members, Senator Richard Burr, Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has announced they’ve found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

“If we write a report based upon the facts that we have, then we don’t have anything that would suggest there was collusion by the Trump campaign and Russia,” North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr told CBS News.

“If I can finish tomorrow, I would finish tomorrow,” said Burr, adding, “We know we’re getting to the bottom of the barrel because they’re not new questions that we’re searching for answers to.”

The Senate panel has conducted more than 200 witness interviews and reviewed hundreds of thousands of documents as part of an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. The investigation, which has focused heavily on the collusion question, began in January 2017, alongside a parallel probe run out of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. – Daily Caller

On April 27, 2018, the House Intelligence Committee also released a report stating they found no evidence of Trump collusion with the Russian government.

According to Fox News– The Republican-authored report — released over Democratic objections — stated the committee “found no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded, coordinated, or conspired with the Russian government.” The committee did, however, “find poor judgment and ill-considered actions by the Trump and Clinton campaign.”

The more than 250-page report was heavily blacked out, however, and the leader of the committee investigation slammed the intelligence community for their “overzealous redactions.”

President Trump responded to the news of the report that exonerated him by tweeting:

“Just Out: House Intelligence Committee Report released. ‘No evidence’ that the Trump Campaign “colluded, coordinated or conspired with Russia.’ Clinton Campaign paid for Opposition Research obtained from Russia-Wow! A total Witch Hunt! MUST END NOW!” Trump tweeted.

That’s not going to stop the Democrats from attempting to discredit the popular president. Democrat Adam Schiff, who appears to be suffering from one of the worst known cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome in Washington D.C.

Following Trump’s powerful SOTU speech, Schiff dared to claim President Trump, who for two years, has been the target of a phony witch hunt, “did nothing for two years.” Schiff should have been congratulating Trump for all that he has accomplished for two years in spite of the two-year-long witch hunt he has been forced to endure.

Schiff later threatened President in a tweet, saying: I can understand why the idea of meaningful oversight terrifies the President. Several of his close associates are going to jail, others await trial, and criminal investigations continue. We’re going to do our job and won’t be distracted or intimidated by threats or attacks.

Trump immediately fired back, calling his threat, “Unlimited Presidential Harassment…”

So now Congressman Adam Schiff announces, after having found zero Russian Collusion, that he is going to be looking at every aspect of my life, both financial and personal, even though there is no reason to be doing so. Never happened before! Unlimited Presidential Harassment…

Only hours after he tweeted about Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (CA), President Trump again, tweeted about “PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT”:

President Trump, whose recent State of the Union speech, according to a CBS poll, appeared to be wildly popular with Republicans, Independents and even 30% of Democrats. President Trump tweeted the vote:

Will the constant harassment of President Trump, that forces him to answer to false accusations against him, instead of focusing on critical duties, be the primary reason Democrats and Independents abandon the Democrat Party in 2020?

What are your thoughts? Please tell us what you think in the comment section below. Can the Democrats ever recover from their embarrassing and underhanded efforts to exact revenge on President Trump for defeating Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election?
