Progressive lawmakers in New York are quickly turning the state into a culture of death. One pro-life group has big plans that they hope will change some hearts and minds in one of America’s most liberal cities.

In February 2018, New York City’s One World Trade Center was lighted in pink to “celebrate” the passing of a new law in New York that allows doctors to kill babies in the third-term of their mother’s pregnancy.

The Reproductive Health Act was signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo in Albany earlier Tuesday, timed for the 46th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. The law had been passed by the State Senate on a 38-24 vote, almost entirely split on the basis of party lines.

The gallery in the New York state legislature was caught on video cheering over the new law that allowed full-term babies to be killed.

New York pro-abortion activists and lawmakers are not going to happy when they see the powerful display a pro-life group has planned for visitors in Times Square.

According to Life News – A huge, pro-life display that demonstrates the value of unborn babies will be featured in one of America’s most iconic places this weekend: Times Square in New York City.

Sponsored by Focus on the Family, “Alive From New York” will show a live, 4D ultrasound of an unborn baby in the center of Times Square for thousands to see.

“Our hope is that people walking into Times Square on Saturday will look up to the screens and lift-up in prayer every abortion-minded woman,” Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family, told Fox News.

The event will include music, inspirational speakers and the testimonies of abortion survivors, as well as the live ultrasound.

“They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, the picture of a baby is actually of inestimable worth. It’s a snapshot of the future and a million possibilities yet to come,” Daly said.

Through the event, the pro-life organization hopes to inspire people to push back against the state’s radical new pro-abortion law. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the law in January, allowing unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth and recognizing abortion as a “fundamental human right.”

Focus on the Family hopes their positive, life-affirming ultrasound display will help people realize that every baby deserves to be protected under the law, Daly said.

People who cannot make the event but want to participate can watch via livestream here from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The truth is powerful, and abortion activists cannot argue with a real-life image of a baby in his or her mother’s womb. Ultrasounds can make a huge impact because they demonstrate that the woman is carrying more than just a “potential person” or a “blob of tissue.” She is carrying a living, unique human being who can smile, turn somersaults, yawn, suck their thumb and much more – a precious, valuable child.

Here’s an example of a 4D ultrasound, showing a baby inside its mother’s womb:
