Melania Trump has been holding her powder for a year and a half. With the exception of her calling out b-actor Peter Fonda for tweeting that he would like to see her and President Trump’s 11-year-old son Barron kidnapped and put into a cage with a pedophile, she has remained relatively quiet in the face of an avalanche of criticism from her shoe choices to having the audacity to marry Donald J. Trump. When a certain leftist actress, who seems to be obsessed with race, threatened to cancel her show if Melania watched it, Melania hit back, in the nicest possible way…

A Trump-hating liberal actress has now found herself in just such a situation where, in order for her to stand on the principle she fiercely staked out, she will have to cancel her own popular show, as she was just called out and essentially trolled on social media by first lady Melania Trump.

That actress is Issa Rae, creator and star of the hit HBO series “Insecure,” who raved in a recent interview with Glamour magazine about how former first lady Michelle Obama was a big fan of the show. She suggested she’d cancel the series out of spite if she found out the current first lady was a fan of the show as well.

It was pointedly stressed in the article that Rae’s “Insecure” is a show about black people, for black people and written by black people. “If a story line is funny to me, if it’s real to me, if it moves me, then it’s my thing,” she said. “It’s my experience, so no one can take that away from me.”

According to 247liveculture – Issa Rae’s hit HBO series Insecure was renewed for a fourth season and the creator and star of the comedy series made it very clear who her loyalty on the show is to! In a recent interview, Issa Rae discussed that the success of the show is due to the predominantly minority staff that creates a show that black people can relate to without having to explain the overall blackness of the show to its non-black viewers. It’s safe to say the show is unapologetically black, and she is perfectly ok with it being portrayed that way.

Rae recalled meeting Obama in 2017 and learning that she was a big fan of the series, having been turned on to it by her daughters, Sasha and Malia.

“It was like talking to my auntie,” Rae said of the former first lady. “It bums me out that I will never have that feeling again of the first family f—ing with us so hard and getting us.”

“If Melania (Trump) said that to me, I would be like, ‘Well, I guess it’s canceled. We’re not making this show. It’s not ours anymore,’” she said.

Set aside for a moment the inherent racism of Rae’s explanation of her program — does anyone think Hollywood and the media would be OK with a show made explicitly for white people, about white people and by white people? — and let’s look for a moment at the stupidity of what she said instead.

It shouldn’t matter to Rae who watches and appreciates her show, regardless of skin tone or political affiliation, and the suggestion that she would spitefully cancel a popular program simply because someone she doesn’t like happens to enjoy it is nothing short of asinine. –Western Journal

Melania, who only yesterday called the alleged anonymous “senior official” a “coward” after he/she allegedly penned an op-ed, trashing her husband appears to be fed up with the constant barrage of insults of her and her husband and is taking off the gloves and responding to these hateful, liberal hacks.

Yesterday, Melania’s Director of Communications, Stephanie Grisham tweeted a reply to an article post in the New York Post that referenced Issa Rae’s threat to quit the show if Melania watched it.

Grisham tweeted: Alert: FYI @IssaRae, @FLOTUS likes your show!

Trump haters demanded Melania “prove” that she has watched the show…yeah, okay…like maybe film herself watching it?

Meanwhile, Trump supporters asked when she’d be canceling the show?

Nada Kahttar claims to be a Trump fan, as well as a fan of her show. Khattar breaks it down for Rae, explaining that it would be a shame for her to cancel her show over her pettiness.

“Kelly” asks Issa Rae if she’s going to follow through on her promise to cancel the show?

Well, … I guess you will cancel then, right? Or are you just a loudmouth coward? .. Well played, .”

“Phil “Teddy” Bates” wants to know if Rae is standing by her cancellation threat?
