After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade this weekend in a 5-4 decision, radical leftist, pro-abortion protesters took to the streets by the hundreds of thousands to push back against the ruling.

Many of the protests turned violent, resulting in property destruction and injury to civilians and police officers.

Ten people were arrested during a violent “protest” at an Oregon pro-life pregnancy center on Friday night.

The Eugene Police Department said that the protesters were throwing smoke bombs and trying to fight police outside the Dove Medical Center after 9 p.m.

According to a press release from the police department, “On June 24, Eugene Police began receiving reports of a group publicizing on social media for people to come to a ‘Night of Rage’ in the wake of an opinion by the Supreme Court of the United States, Dobbs v. Jackson (related to Roe v. Wade). The group’s stated meeting point was Dove Medical Center, 487 E. 11th Avenue, for around 10 p.m.. Due to the potential for property damage toward a business located in Eugene, as well as the general safety and security of the other businesses and residents downtown, Eugene Police monitored the situation.”

In another pro-abortion protest in Los Angeles, a rioter was charged with attempted murder after they attempted to burn a police officer alive using a makeshift flamethrower.

The police officer was hospitalized as a result of severe burn injuries.

Other videos from the riot show police officers being attacked and having projectiles hurled at them from masked and black clad antifa rioters.

The Los Angeles police department, rather than supporting their own officers who were brutally beaten and hospitalized, released a statement saying that the majority of the rioters were “peaceful” and thanking them for not engaging in violence.  Astounding.

The response comes as Los Angeles’ District Attorney, George Gascon, faces a recall effort for allowing violent crime to skyrocket due to his “soft on crime” policies.  Gascon has unsurprisingly received backing from progressive billionaire George Soros.
