After Israel’s interior minister granted pro-Palestinian Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib a chance to visit her grandmother in the West Bank on ‘humanitarian grounds’, Tlaib pulled a fast one on Israel by refusing the invite that SHE HAD ASKED FOR IN A LETTER.

Tlaib previously wrote a letter vowing to respect any restrictions and not support a boycott of Israel if she could get a chance to see her grandmother:

“I will respect any restrictions and will not promote boycotts against Israel during my visit.”

Tlaib tweeted out a photo of her grandmother saying that “the truth of what is happening to Palestinians is frightening.”

After the invitation from Israel,  Tlaib suddenly changed her tune and said she would not visit her grandmother in the occupied West Bank:

“I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in.”

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri slammed Tlaib’s reversal:

“Her hatred for Israel overcomes her love for her grandmother.”

Tlaib’s request came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a blistering statement directed at the Democratic Congresswoman on why he refused to allow Tlaib to enter Israel.

It’s now obvious that Tlaib hates Israel more than she loves her granmother:

“I’m only here to pick figs with my granny.”

Unreal!
