Remember when Oprah was caught on video explaining to BBC host Will Gompertz that white people “just have to die” to fix racism? Yeah…she said that. Oprah’s not a comedian. In fact, many (myself included) credit Oprah for eight of the most racially charged years since the civil rights era, when she traded in her “America’s darling talk show host” hat for a giant race card. With no knowledge of Barack Obama’s history and very little experience in the real world, outside of his career as a radical community organizer, Oprah pushed Barack Obama for president on her viewers, like her own life depended on it. Why was Oprah so passionate about Barack Obama? Was it his abysmal track record of accomplishment as a Jr. Senator in her home state of Illinois? Was it his vote to support the killing babies who were fortunate enough to survive abortions? Or was it simply because he was black? No one dared to question her motives, simply because she was Oprah and she was standing on the left side of the aisle…she was firmly aligned with Democrat Party the Party of the untouchables.
It’s interesting that Hollywood is cheering the demise of Roseanne over her “racist” tweet, that cost her and her fellow actors dearly, when ABC announced they were pulling the plug on her wildly successful reboot of the “Roseanne Show”, when you could’ve heard a pin drop in the deafening silence from the media and her Hollywood peers, that followed Oprah’s disgusting, racist comment during her interview with BBC.
Oprah made a very good living by playing on the emotions of a 77% white female audience. Approximately 5.9 million white women watched the Oprah Winfrey Show every day, as compared to 1.4 million black women. A lot has changed since the days of the Oprah Winfrey Show, however. For eight long years, we watched a President and First Lady, who Oprah helped to put into the White House, shame white Americans for their “privilege” and for consciously or subconsciously having racist thoughts and tendencies. We watched cities burn, while President Obama and his race-baiter friend, and frequent visitor to the White House, Al Sharpton fanned the flames. Even after the witnesses admitted during their Grand Jury testimony, that Brown’s hands were not “up” when he was shot, well-known black leaders and celebrities like Oprah and Beyonce remained silent about the innocence of Officer Wilson.
While Oprah was in the UK promoting her new film, “The Butler”, in which she plays Gloria Gaines, wife of a White House butler, she spoke to BBC’s Will Gompertz about racism.
Oprah told BBC’s Gompertz that there was a whole generation of racist people who were “born and bred and marinated” in racism and that the only way that would change is that they “just have to die”.
Gregory Kane of the Washington Examiner dissected the one-way racism that Oprah pushed during her BBC interview: Ah, the tenets of Libthink, one of which is that anyone opposed to the policies of one President Obama is, by definition, a racist.
A second is that only whites can be racist. Another is that no black person, anywhere, at any time and under any circumstances, can be a racist.
When the BBC correspondent asked Oprah if she felt that racism was the reason some Americans opposed Obama and his policies. Oprah, the one person responsible, more than any other, for Obama being president, of course, said yes.
But she said much more than that. Specifically, she said this when asked if the problem of racism in America had been solved:
“Of course the problem [of racism] is not solved. … As long as there are people who still— there’s a whole generation — I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid, South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, for my own community in the South — there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”
In one quick, thoughtless breath, Oprah added another tenet to Libthink: Not only are all racists white, but they also need to “just die,” every last one of them.
Once all those old, white racists “who were born and bred and marinated in it” have died, then America will be forever purged of racism.
Make that “white racism,” and remember, according to Libthink doctrine, that’s the only racism worth mentioning.
