Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert took aim at the Democrats Friday as they attempted to push through an enormous $370 billion bill. The bill has been named The Inflation Reduction Act and is expected to pass the House without bipartisan support, earning only Democrat support.

Boebert questioned why we need an inflation reduction act with Biden’s insistence that we don’t have an inflation issue.

‘Mr. Speaker, isn’t it so? Joe Biden himself said inflation rates is at 0 percent. So what the heck are we doing here? Why are we passing the so-called Inflation Reduction Act if it’s at O percent,’ Boebert said.

Boebert also took to social media to contradict the Biden inflation narrative.

As Boebert discussed the Inflation bill, she was told her time was up,

The gentlewoman’s time has expired,’ the chair said, banging his gavel.

Boebert continued, “And it does the exact opposite of what Americans need right now. This is just another con game by the Democrats calling something one thing and saying another. This is making the IRS – with armed agents – larger than the Pentagon, the State Department, the FBI,’

Another Republican offered his 30 seconds after her mic was cut. The bill proposes hiring 87,00 new IRS agents who carry firearms and can use deadly force. Boebert highlighted this calling it armed robbery,

‘This bill hires 87,000 new IRS agents and they are armed and the job description tells them that they need to be required to carry a firearm and expected to use deadly force if necessary,’ adding

‘Excessive taxation is theft. You’re using the power of the federal government for armed robbery on the taxpayers,’

Boebert accurately represented the frustration Americans feel as they watch the government, especially the Democrat party, spend taxpayer money with reckless abandonment on issues that are not primary concerns. Most Americans are incredibly concerned with the faltering economy and would rather not spend money on hiring more IRS agents.

Rep Greg Murphy expressed Americans’ concerns on Twitter “Inflation is the #1 concern for American families.”
