After Pam Bondi was removed as attorney general, there are rumors that President Trump is considering additional shakeups to his Cabinet.

REPORT: Pam Bondi Removed As Attorney General

POLITICO alleges Trump has expressed "frustration" and "disappointment" with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer.

"He’s very angry and he’s going to be moving people," an administration official reportedly told the outlet.

"No final decisions have been made on Chavez-DeRemer and Lutnick, and Trump has contemplated firing people and then backed off before," POLITICO correspondent Dasha Burns wrote.

POLITICO shared further:

Should Trump proceed with a larger set of Cabinet changes, it could represent a major attempted reset for an administration confronting an ominous political landscape.

The potential high-level shuffling, a second, senior official said, is focused on Cabinet officials Trump feels have “underperformed or who have generated too much negative attention.”

In a statement, Taylor Rogers, a White House spokesperson, said Chavez-DeRemer and Lutnick are “both doing a great job standing up for American workers, and they continue to have President Trump’s full support.”

A third White House official reached out to POLITICO on behalf of Lutnick saying they hadn’t heard anyone suggest changes at the Commerce Department. “Everyone is thrilled with the job Howard has done — on trade deals, pharmaceuticals, Japan, tariffs, all of it....He’s also taken a hard line on Canada from day one, which POTUS appreciates.”

In related news, the White House earlier this week issued a blistering statement refuting a report that Trump was considering firing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

“Totally Fake News” – White House Responds To Report That President Trump Is Considering Firing Tulsi Gabbard

"@POTUS has total confidence in @DNIGabbard, and any insinuation otherwise is totally fake news. The President has assembled the most talented and impactful Cabinet ever, and they have collectively delivered historic victories on behalf of the American people," White House spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement.

It wouldn't be surprising to see future White House statements refuting additional "fake news" on potential shakeups to Trump's Cabinet.

The Independent wrote:

Chavez DeRemer has had her fair share of scandals since working at the White House. She is accused of bringing her staffers to a strip club while on a work trip, and her husband has been banned from the Labor Department HQ over allegations of sexual harassment.

Mixed messages are coming from the White House regarding Lutnick, with one insider telling Politico that he is on “thin ice.”

However, another said, “Everyone is thrilled with the job Howard has done.”

Lutnick was a neighbor of Jeffrey Epstein in New York and was one of the architects of the Trump tariffs, which were ultimately struck down by the Supreme Court.

If DeRemer were to be fired, she would be the third woman to lose her job in the Trump administration.
