In Miami-Dade County, the number of registered Republicans voting early surpassed Democrats Wednesday, directly following Biden’s Miami visit to campaign for his parties candidates. As a result, Democrat fear that the GOP will win control of the House in next week’s midterm election is rising. Miami’s heavily Republican early-vote turnout has reinforced Democrat’s concerns.

The early turnout is a good sign that Senator Marco Rubio and Governor Ron DeSantis, both running for re-election, will win.

Republican voter enthusiasm also indicates that the economy and inflation, rather than social issues such as abortion, are driving voters out this year. Nearly every polling measure has stated this, yet Democrats across the country have ignored this and focused on abortion. Voters tend to trust Republicans on economic issues and Democrats more on social issues.

According to Daily Mail, Miami-Dade is over 70% Hispanic, indicating that they are mainly turning out for Republicans. Of the Hispanic demographic, 30% are Cuban, which favors the GOP nationwide. Latino voters appear to be dumping Democrats in droves as Republicans take the lead five days before the elections.

Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties have been strongholds for the Democrat party. Miami-Dade County has more than 1.5 million registered voters and the highest Florida population.
As the election day draws near, Ron DeSantis reminds Florida residents that while the country has taken a hit under Biden economics, Florida has offered record-breaking tax relief for families. DeSantis led by providing a tax holiday on items like diapers, children’s clothing, and shoes. He also gave the state residents a gas tax holiday to help stabilize gas prices.

Florida’s demonstrated concern for its citizens’ welfare has caused more people to move to the state, fleeing Democrat-run states with high crime rates and tax rates. In addition, it has contributed to the overwhelming support Governor DeSantis is gaining among independents and Latinos.

DeSantis’s wise and compassionate fiscal policy has outperformed the United States in GDP, labor force, and in adding private sector jobs. He has demonstrated what determined leadership can do when it works hard for the citizenry.

DeSantis has thrown his support behind another Gubernatorial candidate whose policies are similar to his with an America-first focus. DeSantis tweeted, “The road to saving America from the woke left goes right through Arizona by electing Kari Lake and Blake Masters.” He said they would be warriors for the people.
