Twitter is ablaze over the case of another political official who tried to use her position to get out of a ticket for going 37 mph in a 25 mph zone. We just reported on another New Jersey official who also thought laws and rules didn’t apply to her (see below)

DEMAND RACIST ANTI-COP JHADI RESIGNS FROM NJ SCHOOL BOARD! CALL Tel: 973-762-5600 Stephanie Lawson-Muhammad, a NJ Board of Education member, abused a COP, calls him a SKIN HEAD & FAKES panic attack Muhammad is married to a Nation of Islam member

A New Jersey board of education member is facing a call to resign Wednesday after video surfaced purportedly showing her trying to “manipulate” a police officer by exercising “civic privilege” after she was pulled over for speeding.

The woman in the April 27 dash-cam video, who identifies herself as Stephanie Lawson-Muhammad, a South Orange and Maplewood Board of Education member, also is heard telling one of the town’s officers that she is “scared of cops because you guys hurt black people,” before calling the cop’s boss a “skinhead.”

Fox News reports:

The incident began after Officer Shaun Horst pulled over Lawson-Muhammad for “doing 37 in a 25.”

“My name is Stephanie Lawson-Muhammad, I’m on the school board, I’m a community member of this town. I’m sorry if I was speeding,” she is heard telling Horst, before asking him if it’s OK if her daughter can exit the vehicle to continue on her way to school.

“And I’m scared of cops, because you guys hurt black people,” she then adds while making sobbing noises.

“Ma’am, do you want me to call an ambulance?” Horst asks her. “You look like you might be having a panic attack, or some anxiety.”

“No I don’t want you to call me an ambulance,” Lawson-Muhammad snaps back at the officer. “That was a f—–g insult.”

After being handed summonses for speeding and failing to have a valid insurance card in her possession, Lawson-Muhammad – who is married to the great-grandson of Nation of Islam founder Elijah Muhammad – becomes increasingly distraught.

“Now you want me to go to court? I don’t wanna go to court – I have insurance, he can text you a picture of it right now,” says Lawson-Muhammad, referring to her husband.

Horst responds by saying that he can’t void the summons since it was already written.

“Then I’ll call Sheena, and your skinhead cop chief, too,” she adds, referencing the president of South Orange Village.

A big dose of karma came to a Democratic lobbyist and NY/NJ Port Authority muckily muck who thought she could push around officers who were just trying to do their job. Caren Turner, 60, a Democratic lobbyist who served as the ethics chair of the powerful bi-state agency was forced to resign by the governor of NJ after a video emerged of her cursing at police officers.

Turner thought that if she flashed her golden badge they wouldn’t follow the law:

Turner arrived at the scene where a car in which her daughter had been a passenger was pulled over. The vehicle was stopped with no registration and insurance, according to Politico. The car was about to be towed and Turner was going to drive her daughter and the other occupants of the car home before a confrontation between Turner and the police broke out.

WFB reports:

“She immediately walked up to PO Casper and I and began attempting to hand me a business card identifying herself as ‘the commissioner of the Port Authority,’” wrote police officer Matthew Savitsky, referring to his fellow officer. “She also exhibited a full-size gold badge in a badge wallet that had the same printed on it. She then began a line of questioning in a demanding nature.”

Turner stated she was a “friend of the mayor” and claimed to she managed over 4,000 officers in the Port Authority. Politico reports the agency employs about 1,600 police officers.

During the video, the officers told Turner may take her adult daughter, to which Turner can be heard yelling “you may shut the f— up!”

“You can’t put a sentence together, sorry. That’s pathetic and you are a disappointment!” Turner said to one of the officers before yelling at the other one.

Turner’s resignation apparently only came after she was “encouraged” to by Gov. Phil Murphy (D., N.J.).

We previously reported on this gem:

Jennifer Schwartz Berky, a New York county legislator, was filmed by police cameras as she freaked out over getting a speeding ticket in Kingston, NY. She claimed to have PTSD and to be having a panic attack during the encounter, which reportedly lasted for about half an hour. In the end, the officer wrote her a ticket for driving 13 miles over the speed limit and Berky apologized for her behavior.
