Starbucks Corp is permanently closing stores in heavy crime areas, it announced Monday.  According to the Seattle Times, a Starbucks spokesperson announced that more than a dozen stores will close due to drug use, theft, and assault, as concerns for employee safety grow.

The Epoch Times reported that store managers would be given the liberty to close restrooms to the public, limit seating over safety concerns, and alter operations if needed. Starbucks affirmed its commitment to the “emotional & financial safety” of their employees and said they would offer numerous benefits including “access to abortions or gender affirming procedures”.

Starbucks put out a company memo saying “You’re also seeing firsthand the challenges facing our communities – personal safety, racism, lack of access to healthcare, a growing mental health crisis, rising drug use, and more. With stores in thousands of communities across the country, we know these challenges can, at times, play out within our stores too. We read every incident report you file – it’s a lot.”

Conspicuously missing from the company’s list of challenges facing their communities was a concern over weak law enforcement and corrupt district attorneys in the Democrat-run cities where the stores are closing. Leftist policies are causing nationwide harm as crime rates rise.

As New York Times mocked Rep Lauren Boebert’s faith, Representative Mary Miller called them out on the vast safety issues facing American cities as leftist policies create a “Mental health crises, a drug addiction crises, a crime wave, and a homelessness crises”.

Senator Tim Scott also said the crime wave Americans face has caused them to loose total faith in the Biden Administration.
