Although he’s had no shortage of self-serving rivals since he first stepped on the political scene, there’s one foe that President Donald Trump has been facing off against since well before his White House ambitions.
And Rosie O’Donnell is determined to keep that beef alive, as she proved during an appearance during the recent Tony Awards.
As Breitbart reported, it was the latest time she went back on her previous vow to never return to the US under a Trump administration.
O’Donnell says that she will be putting on a show at the end of July in The Big Apple and announced the venue while attending the Tony Awards.
She hit the awards show on Sunday night and lit into President Trump from the red carpet.
ADVERTISEMENTShe may no longer like the U.S., but apparently American money is still good as far as O’Donnell is concerned.
Despite saying she does not regret leaving the “scary” U.S., this is not the first time O’Donnell has sneaked back into the country.
She came back in January of this year to “see if it was safe” for her here with Donald Trump in the White House.
She then came back a few months later in April, too. She admitted to her fans that she spent two weeks in the U.S. on the second trip.
Her well-worn attacks on the president fueled some social media backlash:
He’s still living rent free in her brain all these years. Laughable. And now she back. Freakshow.

This dumb fat ugly bitch left on their own accord, she threw a temper tantrum and left the country and now she act like she was fucking banished🤦🏽♂️🤣🤣🤣🫵🏽 Why does this fat retard think we care. It's better when she was gone. She's still ugly after the facelift too. Maybe uglier

The New York Post also reported on her remarks:
“I worried the first time I came back, whether that would be problematic, and I came alone without my child, who is 13 and has autism. She’s my youngest of five,” she told us. “I wanted to make sure that if anything happened, it didn’t happen in her presence, so it was fine — as it should be.”
She added, “I’m an American citizen and always will be, and he can’t really arrest American citizens without cause, and using freedom of speech is not a reason to be arrested in America.”
Rosie O’Donnell told Page Six at the 2026 Tony Awards Sunday that she did worry about returning to the US after President Trump threatened to revoke her citizenship last July.
ADVERTISEMENTShe told us she had already made sure she could get in and out of the US with no issues when she took a secret trip back in February to see family.
O’Donnell also talked to us about her decision last month to reveal she got a secret facelift, and explained that she wanted to be truthful — unlike some celebrities.
“Well, a lot of people were saying, ‘What did you do?’ and I didn’t want to be one of those celebrities who has a weight problem their whole life and then suddenly they’re skinny and fit and didn’t admit it’s Mounjaro.”
“I didn’t want to do that to people who are obese and struggling [and thinking], ‘Why can’t I do it,’ you know? So I just wanted to tell the truth,” she continued.
O’Donnell might want to keep the rivalry alive for the sake of her own relevance, but Trump effectively ended it with this mic-drop moment from the 2016 election debate stage:
