Earlier today Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell went to the Senate floor and blamed President Trump for provoking insurrectionists into storming the US Capitol. It was a disgusting and ignorant remark by the GOP leader of the US Senate.

On Tuesday night Newsmax host Greg Kelly asked Rudy Giuliani about Mitch McConnell’s vicious attack on President Trump today.
Greg Kelly: How did the president take what Mitch McConnel said. How did it feel. How did you feel?
Rudy Giuliani: Well I’ll tell you how I feel, not how the president feels. I just don’t like liars. I never liked liars whether they posed as senators or anybody else. He’s lying. I have the video evidence to prove it. I have video evidence to prove that Antifa had a lot more to do with that than anybody else. And so did Groypers and several other groups.

Further, Republican leaders are skipping President Trump’s farewell event to instead attend church with incoming President Joe Biden on the day of his inauguration, The Independent reported.
Senate Majority Leader, soon-to-be Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy will both attend church with Mr. Biden, Axios reports. It’s a snub symbolising a possible GOP establishment break with Donald Trump and a sign of unity for the country.
Vice President Mike Pence is also skipping Mr Trump’s event but is reportedly not going to attend church with Mr. Biden. Washington Post White House reporter Josh Dawsey tweeted that attending both Mr. Trump’s event and Mr. Biden’s inauguration would be logistically challenging for Mr. Pence.
VP Pence is not expected to attend President Trump's sendoff at Joint Air Force Base Andrews tomorrow morning, per White House officials. He is attending the inauguration later in the day, and aides say it would be logistically challenging for the vice president to do both.

Mr. Trump’s sendoff will take place at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. He has requested the event to include the military, with a band and maybe a flyover.
Senator McConnell has been after the President his entire term and has shown it repeatedly since the November election.
Is this because he and his wife are knee-deep in corrupt activities with China?
