Sarah Sanders has been relatively quiet for a while. Last week, President Trump told her she didn’t need to bother addressing the fake news media.

Trump sent out a tweet, explaining her absence behind the “podium”: The reason Sarah Sanders does not go to the “podium” much anymore is that the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately, in particular, certain members of the press. I told her not to bother, the word gets out anyway! Most will never cover us fairly & hence, the term, Fake News!

But today, after staying out of the media snakepit for a while, Sanders made a re-entry into the world of anti-Trump news with her appearance on CNN’s New Day host, John Berman.

Berman asked her what it would take for President Trump to take a deal from the Democrats that doesn’t involve giving him the funds he needs to build the wall. “If they come to you and say four billion dollars, five billion dollars on border security—no wall, but we’ll enhance the ports of entry, we’ll repair existing fencing. Would the President sign that?”

An exasperated Sanders explained, “Look, John, let me say it to you like this, I’d never want to get on an airplane that only had one wing. The President wants to make sure that we’re actually securing the border in totality, not just with one wing, you need two wings, which means you have to have a wall, you have to have technology, you have to have all of the things that the President has put forward in his proposal—all things the Democrats support.” Sanders reminded There’s no reason why they should be fighting the President when they know that they agree with him.”

What do you think? Should President Trump and the Republicans make a deal with Democrats that doesn’t include funding the wall? Let us know what you think, in the comment section below.
