Sec. Pompeo and Sec. Mnuchin held a press conference this morning to announce new sanctions on Iran:

‘We will cut off billions of dollars of support to the Iranian regime.”

The media seemed angry with the two Trump administration officials with questions about exactly what was the “imminent threat” that caused President Trump to act on killing Gen. Soleimani. The media is just like Democrats and feels it isn’t enough that this known terrorist was responsible for hundreds of American deaths.

Secretary of State Pompeo confirmed that there were ‘imminent threats” but he obviously couldn’t predict the time or date:

Note that several reporters were trying to insinuate that Pompeo wasn’t telling them the truth. Pompeo was able to clarify and speak calmly to the rabid reporters.
