Comedian George Lopez just came out to say his offer to accept half of the reward money to kill President Trump was a “joke.”

Lopez has a history of threats and anti-Trump statements that go low:

Fox News reports that Lopez previously used a water bottle to simulate urinating on Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star, noted that the president’s kids could be considered “anchor babies,” mocked Trump’s reported $50,000 golf simulator and was charged after he got into a slight physical altercation with a Trump supporter at a Hooters.

The Secret Service is “aware” of the recent threat by Lopez to kill President Trump:

A Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement: “The Secret Service is aware of the post made by Mr. Lopez. The Secret Service takes all threats against the President and or any of our protectees seriously, and as a matter of practice, we do not comment on matters involving protective intelligence.”

After $80 million was offered for the assassination of President Trump, Lopez chimed in to say he’d do it for half of the $80 million.

“We’ll do it for half.”
