The internet is lighting up with Senator Chuck Grassley’s (R-IA), blistering speech on the Senate floor regarding the release of the declassified documents related to the Trump-Russia investigation. During his understated, but powerful speech, Grassley called out Democrats and their allies in the media for keeping the hoax alive for over 3 years, and ultimately costing taxpayers over $30 million to support Mueller’s independent investigation that found Trump was not guilty of collusion or obstruction of justice.
Senator Grassley on Senate floor says Flynn was entrapped, calls it “tyranny,” dings Mueller, wants to know what Obama and Biden knew about it, and says people responsible “ought to be prosecuted.”

Senator Chuck Grassley praised Attorney General Barr and acting DNI Richard Grenell for the actions they took to declassify information related to the FBI’s Trump-Russia collusion and making it public. Grassley added that these documents should have been declassified a long time ago. “Their acts of transparency are finally shining a light on the dark corners of the federal government. The public’s business ought to be public. There’s too much over-classification in the federal government,” Grassley said.
Grassley called out former President Obama for saying the “rule of law is at risk” because of the Justice Department’s dismissal of the Flynn case. Grassley clapped back at Obama, saying the opposite is true if the federal government “can get away with violating the Constitution to do what they did to General Flynn.” Grassley pointed out that Obama never spoke out after it was determined that Andrew McCabe lied to federal prosecutors several times, or when the FBI surveilled an innocent citizen tied to Trump’s campaign.
The outspoken Senator called out the disgraced fired FBI director James Comey, saying: “Comey’s pretty smart. He had a plan. It worked. And that plan worked to get Mueller appointed. Mueller did his work for two years and it cost the taxpayers $30 million. And in the end, Mueller found no collusion and no obstruction.”
Grassley also asks what Obama and Biden knew about the dirty dealings of the intelligence community related to the Trump campaign, saying: “It’s time we asked what did Obama and Biden know and when did they know it?”
