Lead House Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff got blowback from moderate Republican Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski when he repeated a claim by CBS News during the closing arguments of the sham impeachment of President Trump.

The clip below from Schiff’s closing arguments in the impeachment trial of President Trump shows Schiff making the claim that “CBS News reported last night that a Trump confidant said that GOP Senators were warned ‘vote against your president, the president, and your head will be on a pike.”

Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times tweeted about comments from the two moderates on the Republican side:

“That’s not true,” Susan Collins said from her seat on the floor, shaking her head.

Lisa Murkowski told reporters: “I thought he was doing fine with moral courage until he got to the head on the pike. That’s where he lost me.”

Murkowski also said, “Certainly. I have not been told that my head is upon a pike.”

Senators Murkowski and Collins are two moderate Republicans that the Democrats hope to get to vote with them.

The entire closing argument from Schiff is ridiculous:
