A Democrat running for Congress in Dalton, Georgia probably isn’t the brightest bulb in the box. He was pulled over by the cops this week because he didn’t have his head lights on….he was driving drunk and stupid. Wouldn’t you think he’d make sure those head lights are on or would realize he had no headlights on!

Steven Lamar Foster must have been hammered because he challenged the Troopers to a fight and called them “Barneys”. He even bragged about how many times he had previously been arrested.

The local chair of Democrats says this incident has only motivated Foster even more…Huh? It looks like he will remain on the ballot. It’ll be interesting to see how many votes he gets from Democrats.

HE WON’T WIN VOTES WITH THIS COMMENT:

“Eleven years I served this county,” Foster told police in the dash-cam video. “I hate this county. I prayed to God that he would curse it. And guess what? He did. Man, I saw it hit and cursed, and I saw people laid off right and left… white people. I hate this county …”

THIS GUY IS RUNNING FOR CONGRESS?

 Daily Citizen reports:

Foster, 61, has been investigated by the U.S. Army on allegations he stole surplus military boats to deliver humanitarian aid. Honduran police charged four of his charitable group’s employees with cocaine trafficking.

And he has been stripped of his Georgia medical license and slapped with hundreds of thousands of dollars in local, state and federal tax liens. He now owns the site of an “adults only, clothing-optional lifestyle retreat” in North Georgia.

Do you have someone who ran for Congress that had no business even being considered? We’d like to hear your local stories of hot mess politicians.
