A California judge has been accused of sexually assaulting courthouse staff and making up a phony alibi to hide the truth.
66-year-old Adolfo M. Corona was appointed to the Fresno County Superior Court in 2003 by Democrat Gov. Gray Davis.
He retired in 2024.
But, while he was still on the bench, Corona allegedly sexually assaulted at least two courthouse employees.
He then (allegedly) lied about it and tried to alter records in an attempt to conjure up a fake alibi.
Here are the depraved details:
BUSTED: A Democrat California judge is charged with s*xually as$aulting courthouse staff and trying to fake an alibi – so where's all of the media outrage?!?!

⠀
Adolfo Corona sat on the Fresno County Superior Court after a 2003 appointment by Democratic Gov. Gray Davis. Federal prosecutors say that on March 14, 2024, while he was still on the bench, he led a judicial assistant into a courthouse stairwell and s*xually as$aulted her.
⠀
They say he got her there with the promise of a gift and an email that read, “Still on the bench though. I will let you know when I am done.” The indictment alleges he penetrated her with his fingers without consent, then walked out of the building.
⠀
Months earlier, on Dec. 5, 2023, a second court employee spent about two hours alone with him in chambers. She was later found passed out there with her pants unbuttoned.
⠀
Corona told the FBI he’d left her to pick up a motorcycle. Prosecutors say he then tried to get a dealership worker to change company records so the story would stick.
⠀
He pleaded not guilty to earlier Fresno County charges of s*xual penetration by force and s*xual battery, and those counts were dropped after the federal case took over. There’s no plea deal, and a jury trial is now set for August 2027.
⠀
Keep watch on whether a robe still gets treated as an alibi of its own.
Corona was indicted by a grand jury on five counts in August 2025.
But, now his trial date has officially been set for next August.
ABC 30 has more:
During a status conference today, the government requested that a trial confirmation hearing for Adolfo Corona be set for July 26, 2027, and a jury trial in August.
In August 2025, a grand jury returned a five- count indictment against the former Superior Court Judge.
The 66-year-old is charged with sexually assaulting two court employees, making false statements to cover up his alleged crimes, and obstructing the investigation.
If convicted, he could be going to prison for life.
Corona faces up to 40 years behind bars for the sexual assault charge and 20 years for each obstruction charge.
What do you think?
Does he deserve the maximum sentence?
