Brit Hume said it best when he tweeted out his opinion about Bernie Sanders’ demeanor as a politician:

Say this for Bernie Sanders. Most politicians, whatever else they do, try to be charming, or at least pleasant. Sanders makes no effort. I guess that’s his form of authenticity.

Sanders proved Hume right tonight with his snarky answers at a Fox News Town Hall. Yes, he got tough questions but one issue, in particular, showed a side of Sanders that is just cold. He was asked about late-term abortion and said he supports aborting babies up until the day they are born. Sickening…

Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders says that he supports aborting babies up until the moment they are born.

He claims that people who care deeply about the issue are turning it into “a political issue.”

Sanders stayed on the defensive the entire night with question after question about his support for Socialism and his total hypocrisy when it comes to how he wants others to handle their money. In other words, he’s all for Socialism but not when it comes to his personal finances. He’s keeping his money but wants to redistribute everyone else’s

Senator Bernie Sanders (VT) the Socialist-Democrat candidate for President in 2020, was utterly humiliated tonight, during his town hall appearance on Fox News. The Socialist US Senator who owns three homes and was just recently outed as a millionaire has a difficult time explaining himself to the Fox News hosts during his town hall tonight.

During their town hall broadcast with Socialist Bernie Sanders, with Fox News hosts, Bret Bair, and Martha MacCallum, Bair asked the millionaire US Senator a question that revealed his embarrassing hypocrisy. With Fox News host Martha MacCallum by his side, Bair asked Senator Sanders, “Your taxes do show that you’re a millionaire. You did make a million 2016 and in 2017.”  Bair continued, “But your marginal tax rate 26% because of Donald Trump’s tax cuts. So, why not say, I’m leading this revolution, I’m not gonna take those?”

Sanders, who appeared to be stunned that Bair would call him out on his hypocrisy replied: “Pfft…come on…I am, I paid the taxes that I owe…why don’t you get Donald Trump up here and ask him how much he pays in taxes.”

Sanders quickly deflected and turned to Donald Trump. “And by the way, why don’t you get Donald Trump up here and ask him what he pays in taxes?” Bair said he would— then continued by reminding Bernie Sanders that he spends an awful lot of time vilifying millionaires, while he is a millionaire. Bernie attempted to deflect again by talking about the shrinking middle class. Again, the Fox News host embarrassed Sanders by calling him out for only giving 3.4% of his vast wealth to charity. Sanders appeared to be unfazed by being called out for his miserly contributions to charity, saying, “My wife and I do give money to charity.  And we’re proud to do what we did…You’re quite right. The Gates Foundation does a phenomenal job. We do what we do…” Which is only 3.4% of his vast income, for anyone who missed it. He is proving once again, that those who promote socialism and spreading the wealth around, are usually those who are least likely to voluntarily give up their piece of the pie.

Watch.

Bernie also got called out on the money he made selling his book. Bair asked Sanders, “When you wrote the book and made the money, isn’t that the definition of capitalism and the American dream?” Bernie Sanders replied, “No!”

His response was perfect, as he explained that because he has a college degree and has been a lifetime public servant, his vast accumulation of wealth is justified.
