Crooked Soros-Backed George Gascon lies about sheriff agreeing with lenient sentencing for juvenile who ran down a woman and her son in stolen vehicle

George Gascon, the Soros-backed LA District Attorney who faces a potential recall, recently gave a juvenile who had ran over (thankfully non-fatally) a woman and her eight-month-old son in a stroller with a stolen vehicle a measly 5 months probation and no jail time. He then claimed that the county sheriff’s office agreed with his lenient sentencing. This was not the case.

The juvenile pleaded  guilty to two counts of felony charges of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury and one felony count of hit-and-run. However, under the guidance of George Gascon his sentence was a mere five months in a juvenile probation camp, which Prosecutors describe as “less than a military school and a little bit tougher than a summer camp.”

Not only does the LA Sheriff’s Department not agree with the sentencing, but they were never even consulted. They were not the investigating body during the case. Gascon lied through his teeth with nothing to base it on.

Crooked LA DA George Gascon

In retaliation to Gascon’s claim which attempted to sully the Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva made the following statement on Facebook and Twitter.

“Sheriff’s investigators would never be OK with the lightweight sentencing in this hit-and-run case. Stop empowering and encouraging criminal behavior. Hold them accountable #VictimsMatter.”

Gascon faces a potential recall because even the liberals of LA are tired of his ridiculously lenient “sentences” and refusal to prosecute, which puts the criminals first and the victims last.

“I thought those were the last moments of our lives; we were dead,” the victim, identified only as Rachel, wrote in an impact statement. “That feeling, along with the memory of a car accelerating directly into us, will haunt me forever.”

If not for Rachel’s heroic actions her and her son would likely have been murdered by the driver. Yet Gascon sees it fit to give him only five months of probation. A slap on the wrist which will be expunged from his record when he turns 18 in less than a year, leaving many to question how this could possibly be justice.
