A New Jersey high school happened to be lucky enough to host their prom at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

What a great opportunity for the students! Well, in our pc culture, this was turned into a slam on our American culture and patriotism. You will not believe the spinelessness of the principal who caved to the cultural Marxist parents.

The objective of cultural Marxism — a.k.a. political correctness — is to destroy our culture. This cannot be done without unmooring us from our heritage and then turning us against it.

moonbattery reports:

The pride our history would inspire in any healthy person must be corroded into shame before progressive objectives can be achieved.

That’s why the principal of Cherry Hill High School East in New Jersey has grovelingly apologized for the phrase “party like it’s 1776” appearing on tickets for the senior prom, to be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia:

“Not all communities can celebrate what life was like in 1776,” Principal Dennis Perry said in a letter to the community Friday.

“I am writing to apologize for the hurt feelings this reference caused for members of our school family,” wrote Perry.

“I especially apologize to our African American students, who I have let down by not initially recognizing the inappropriateness of this wording,” he added.

Crawl, Principal Perry. Crawl on your knees and beg forgiveness for not being sufficiently ashamed of the year that gave birth to America.

Perry said all prom-goers will receive commemorative tickets without the offensive language and vowed the school will make changes “to produce well thought out, appropriate communications.”

Offensive language? “Party like it’s 1776” is offensive language now, because persons of politically preferred pigmentation have discovered they can bully everyone else by choosing to be offended by it.

Inclusion is not about inclusion. It is about brainwashing and browbeating until we see our own nation as an obscenity best flushed away and forgotten.

Danny Elmore of the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association treated Perry to a pat on the head as a reward for his obsequiousness.

However, he said the offensive wording occurred because minorities were not part of the decision-making process.

No doubt they will convene a conference of Al Sharpton types to get permission before printing next year’s prom tickets.

Black youths represented 6.2 percent of East’s student body…

Lest that 6.2% choose to be offended, the time of America’s birth must be reviled. Political correctness entails offending the majority at every opportunity in the name of perpetually disgruntled outliers.

An online search found “party like it’s 1776” has been used to promote multiple events in Philadelphia.

Never again though, now that we know 1776 was a racist year. The Philadelphia 76ers had better change their name promptly, or they will get bullied like the Cleveland Indians did before deep-sixing Chief Wahoo.

Read Principal Perry’s letter, and weep for what political correctness has done to us:
