The MAGA rally at the Target Center in Minneapolis is scheduled to go on in spite of effort by the mayor of the city to stop it from happening.

Roadblock after roadblock has gone up to try and push the scheduled rally to be canceled for it’s Thursday night slot.

The Democratic Mayor Jacob Frey tried his best to paint the Trump rally as “hateful and divisive”.

According to Sean Spicer, this is clearly “political intimidation” by the mayor for charging $20k to Obama but over $500k to Trump’s campaign for security at the event:

Our previous report on the battle to speak in Minneapolis:

President Trump is getting ready for a massive rally at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN on Thursday, at 7 p.m. CT. The rally will take place in the heart of the radical Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s district.

In the 2016 presidential election, President Trump lost the state of Minneapolis by a razor-thin margin of only 43,785 votes to Hillary Clinton.

On September 26, the Democrat mayor of Minneapolis tweeted about his frustration over Trump’s rally in his liberal city. Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey tweeted, “Our entire city” would stand not behind the President,” on the day of his rally in Minneapolis.

Democrat leaders in the state of Minnesota, where Trump has become wildly popular since he was elected in 2016, are fighting him every step of the way.

Late last night, Trump Campaign Manager Brad Parscale tweeted a statement from the Trump campaign. In their statement, the campaign shared a warning from the campaign’s legal team, putting the Target Center’s management team on notice, after receiving their outrageous request for $530,000 for “additional security costs,” warning that if the campaign doesn’t pay the costs in advacne of the rally, they will cancel the event. The letter reminds AEG, the Target Center management team that the Secret Service is “solely and directly responsible” for securing the event, and not the local law enforcement.  The letter also warns AEG that if they attempt to change the terms, they will be held in breach of the contract. The campaign calls their actions an “outrageous abuse of power by a liberal mayor trying to deny the rights of his own citizens just because he hates President Trump.”

Trump campaign rapid response director Andrew Clark also tweeted a stunning finding this morning regarding how the Target Center charged the Obama campaign $20,000 for security costs for a 2009 rally and in 2019. Now, liberal Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey is attempting to charge President Trump $530,000 for the same rally at the “SAME venue,” calling it “Ridiculous!!”

Are Democrats digging themselves a hole they won’t be able to climb out of in critical swing states like Minnesota?

The block of voters in Minnesota that Democrats have in the past, relied upon to maintain their power in D.C., are increasingly turning their backs on a party they no longer recognize.

Fox and Friends co-host Pete Hegseth traveled to Hampton, MN, where he interviewed residents on a voter panel who told him they are “sticking with” President Trump.

The Minnesota voters slammed Democrats on their impeachment efforts, saying they’re, “laughable,” that Democrats promise to the voters that they’ll work with Republicans and then they don’t keep them. The voter Hegseth spoke with said that he believes the Democrats impeachment efforts will actually help Trump to win reelection. A female farmer told the Fox & Friends host, “The President has kept every one of his promises, and God bless him!” Another voter claims he believes AG Bill Barr is about to uncover some dirt on the Democrats and that they’re “terrified.”

Democrat Minneapolis Mayor Frey, sparked a firestorm, when he recently announced a change in policy that would prohibit Minneapolis Police off-duty officers who provide security for the Trump rally, from wearing their uniforms.

In response to the change in policy that Union president Bob Kroll calls, “anti-Trump,” the Minneaoplis Police Union decided to sell t-shirts for the off-duty officers to wear to the rally, that read, “Cops for Trump.” All proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will go to charity.

Former NFL Green Bay Packer player, Bob Kroll is President of the Police Union in Minneapolis. He spoke to Pete Hegseth recently about the new policy from Mayor Frey that prohibits the police officers from wearing their uniforms while off duty.

President Trump weighed in on the controversy, tweeting: Someone please tell the Radical Left Mayor of Minneapolis that he can’t price out Free Speech. Probably illegal! I stand strongly & proudly with the great Police Officers and Law Enforcement of Minneapolis and the Great State of Minnesota! See you Thursday Night!

President Trump also tweeted about the “Cops for Trump” t-shirts available

Trump is not backing down on this fight. We predict the Democrat Mayor’s efforts to silence President Trump and hide the support Minnesota residents have for his reelection bid, will backfire…hugely.
