Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz was heckled at a Barnes & Noble book event held in New York City tonight.

The video below begins with Schultz announcing he is thinking of running for president as an independent and then the heckler yelled out before he was reportedly removed by security.

Schultz said, “I am seriously considering running for president as a centrist independent. And I wanted to clarify the word independent, which I view merely as a designation on the ballot.”

All of a sudden a heckler yelled out:

“Don’t help elect Trump, you egotistical, billionaire asshole!”

Schultz was at Barnes & Noble to speak about his new book From the Ground Up: My Journey to Reimagine the Role of a Global Business. He had mentioned he was considering running for president earlier on Monday.

The left is furious at Schultz for considering a run in 2020 because they feel it could split the vote with Democrats and assure Trump’s reelection.

Will we have another Ross Perot type election in 2020? It can only help Republicans.

Look out for the left to boycott Starbucks. There has been talk of the left doing just that to show their displeasure with the former CEO of the coffee giant.
