The snark got really nasty when followers of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez took to suggestions of violence towards Republican Steve Scalise.
This is the man who almost died because an angry Democrat shot him.
Ocasio Cortez got into a back and forth with Scalise over her statement suggesting a 70% income tax on high-income earners.
The debate took a bad turn when Ocasio Cortez followers went low with a suggestion of “sniping” Scalise.

Scalise responded with a perfect comeback:
“Hi @AOC,” Scalise wrote to Ocasio-Cortez. “Happy to continue this debate on the Floor of the People’s House, but it’s clearly not productive to engage here with some of your radical followers. #StayClassy”

Dan Crenshaw also called out Ocasio Cortez on her 70% income tax plan:
No one thinks this is scandalous. Dance away (was actually pretty good).
What is scandalous is increasing income taxes to 70%.
It’s wholly unethical for anyone to work a majority of the year just to give their money to the government.
Dancing’s great, but ideas matter more.

A great comeback from Crenshaw too!
