Hello everyone and good morning.
My name is Pastor Robb Goodman and I am the senior pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in the beautiful state of Maryland.
I hope that you all are enjoying your summer.
Can you believe it?
We’re almost into August.
I know I say that every week, but I just can’t get over how quickly time flies by.
Amen.
It surely does.
Well, I’ve got a powerful message for you today and as soon as we pray, I’ll share that message with you.
Amen.
Father, we thank you and we praise you that you are the God of heaven and earth.
ADVERTISEMENTWe thank you that you sent your son Jesus Christ to earth, born as a man, a perfect sinless man.
Well, of course, he came as a baby, but he grew into a perfect sinless man because he had no sin in him.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Truly a miracle that God had planned that totally outwitted the enemy.
And I pray today that this word will go forth in power and great authority.
Father, I ask that you help me to bring it forth in accuracy and boldness because the righteous are as bold as a lion.
Wow, that’s a powerful word there.
The righteous are as bold as a lion.
Father, we ask you to cause us to be endowed with your boldness because we are living in the last days and the time of Jesus’ return is drawing nigh.

And we thank you that we’re you’re preparing us to be taken home to live with you forever and ever.
Jesus, have your perfect way in all of your trusted sons and daughters, the believers and the followers of Jesus Christ.
No man can enter the kingdom of heaven unless they have been born again.
So today as we study the Word of God, if there’s anyone listening to this message and you have not been born again, I pray in Jesus’ name that you will trust in the Lord and that you’ll be born again and become a new creature in Jesus Christ.
You will have a new life to live, a new life to walk and serve the Lord, and all of your sins, all of your trespasses, everything that you’ve ever done wrong in this life up until now will be completely and totally forgiven.
Yes.
In the blood of Jesus, there is forgiveness.
And he will wash, literally wash and cleanse you from all sin.
You are being redeemed by the blood of the lamb.

We trust you with it Lord as it travels from country to country through cyberspace.
We thank you and praise you Lord that you are forever with us and that you will never leave us or forsake us.

Lead us and guide us in that way that we are to go.

We put our faith and our trust in you this day in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Well, it’s a good thing to have you with me here this Sunday.
Praise be to God.
The Lord is faithful and he is good.
Today is Sunday, July 26th, 2026.
And just a couple of quick reminders.
Please, please, I implore you, I beg of you to pray for the midterms, the elections that are coming up in November.
Just continue to pray.
We need President Trump and those that support him to win these government seats.
We cannot allow the Senate or the House to be dominated by Democrats.
So, please continue to pray.
Please continue to cry out to God for President Trump, his family’s protection, all of his cabinet.
The Democrats are out to get him.
All the evil in this world does not want him ruling in that office.
They are against him.
They have been completely deceived.
So, we trust the Lord that God will keep this man and enable him to live his full life until it’s time for you, Holy Father, to call him home.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.
Amen.
And amen.
Well, something I want to share with you very quickly as well.
You know, Brother Bill Finch, he is my right-hand man at my church.
He takes care of a lot of things for our church, legal things and finances and all of that.
He does so many, many things for our church.
And he heard something one time, something from Greek history I believe and he talked about how Holy Spirit in Greek is called the Paraclete and it means one called alongside to help in the Greek.
Well, the Paraclete was actually a real human being that marched beside the Roman soldiers as they were ready to go into war, as they were ready to go into battle.
And this person who was called the Paraclete literally would cheer them on and say things like, “You’ve got this.
You’ve got this battle.
You are empowered.
You are strong.
You can overcome any tactical thing.
You can overcome all the enemies of the evil ones.
You can overcome and be strong.
And I’m telling you what, that is exactly what Holy Spirit does with us.
He cheers you on.
He never speaks condemnation to you.
He never says things like, “Oh, you’re not worthy.
You’re not—you’re going to lose.” That is coming from the enemy.
And God has a plan for you.
Well, enough said about that.
I’ve got a lot of scriptures to share with you today.
And the title of today’s message is giving and receiving.
Giving and receiving.
And the first scripture that we’re going to turn to is Philippians 4.
And we’re going to read verses 10 through 18.
Philippians 4:10-18.
And here we go.
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again, though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am to be content.
That is a powerful word right there.
Are you content in the circumstance that you find yourself in right now?
Are you at peace and trusting in the Lord with your circumstances that seem unbearable sometimes?
Trust me, I’ve been through it.
My family’s been through it and I understand how difficult this walk can be sometimes.
But I must tell you the truth.
This is what’s going to make you strong.
And one day you’re going to stand before the Lord and be greatly rewarded for any suffering that you’ve gone through, any persecution that you’ve gone through.
No matter what, you will be rewarded.
And there are five different crowns that the righteous will receive.
I’m not going to get into that right now, but I did a message on that maybe a couple of years ago.
You can go into the history of my YouTube channel, Zion Freedom Fellowship, and you can search for that.
So Paul says, I’ve learned in whatever state I am to be content, satisfied, at peace, at rest.
I know how to be abased and I know how to abound.
Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry.
Wow.
Both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I can do all things.
I can bear whatever comes my way through Christ who gives me strength.
Amen.
Nevertheless, you have done well that you shared in my distress.
Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel.
When I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving, but you only.
So he commends the Philippian church for what they have done to help him in his time of need.
For even in Thessalonica, you sent aid once and again for my necessities.
Not that I seek any gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.
That’s a powerful statement right there.
This letter is all about partnership in the gospel.
Whenever you support a ministry and they’re bringing forth fruit, you will be partakers of that fruit in heaven as well.
And even in your present life, the same anointing that is on the church or different speakers that you subscribe to and follow and gift them.
Sometimes you send aid and comfort to them and pray for them, you will be greatly rewarded.
Absolutely.
This is what the apostle Paul is saying.
Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.
Indeed, I have all and abound.
I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you a sweet smelling aroma and acceptable sacrifice well pleasing to God and my God.
Now because they did all these things, listen what Paul says right now.
And my God shall supply all your need.
All that’s a big word.
It’s a It’s only got three letters, but it’s a big word.
My God shall supply all of your need according to his riches and glory through Jesus Christ his son.
Woo!
I’m telling you that is sweet.
Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever.
Amen.
Wow, that is so powerful.
That is such a powerful word.
Paul writes a letter to the church of Philippi and he commends their partnership in the gospel.
That is really important to understand.
When you again send gifts, you offer prayers.
That is the most important thing.
And I ask for your prayers because pastors who are doing what is right for the Lord, they and their families go through immense trials and testing.
And we need to keep our eyes on Jesus.
It is difficult sometimes and easy sometimes to get your eyes off Jesus and to focus on the problem.
You the enemy tries to wake us up at night and think bad things and you feel fear come upon you.
That is the enemy.
That’s not Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit encourages you.
He lifts you up.
He builds you up.
He speaks words of life to you and encourages you to step out in faith and to abound and overcome.
All right, let’s go to 2 Corinthians 9.
We’ll start at verse 5.
2 Corinthians chapter 9.
And we’re going to start at verse five.
Let me get a drink here real quick if y’all don’t mind.
Got some good coffee this morning.
Thank you, Lord.
All right, we’re going to start with verse five.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.
Listen how Paul speaks about him.
Has said, “I’m a servant of God.
I’m a bondservant of Jesus Christ.
I owe him everything.
He saved me from death.” And Paul was deliberate in the ministry that he started.
He started many churches in Asia all over the place.
He started the church of Ephesus where Timothy was a pastor.
I mean, it’s just incredible.
You know, while he was in prison in Rome, he wrote to the Roman church.
He was just an amazing man.
Amen.
For it is the Lord God who commands light to shine out of darkness, who has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of power may be of God and not of or from us.
We are hard.
Now listen to this folks.
He speaks the truth here because he’s a servant of God.
He says we are hard pressed on every side.
Yet because of the glory that’s inside of us, we are not crushed.
We are perplexed, but because of the glory, we are not in despair.
Persecuted, but because of the glory, we’re not forsaken, struck down, but because of the glory that we have inside of us, we are not destroyed.
Woo!
Hallelujah.
Always carrying about in the body or in our bodies the dying of the Lord Jesus that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our bodies right now in this life right now.
We don’t have to wait till Jesus comes or we’re in heaven to walk in the resurrection power, but we have right to it right now.
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifest in our mortal flesh.
So then death worketh in us but life works in you.
Oh man, I’m telling you what.
Glory be to God.
Woo.
Hallelujah.
And since we have this same spirit of faith, the spirit of faith, faith conquers, faith overcomes.
Faith is the only thing that pleases our heavenly father.
According to what is written.
I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore we speak.
Now listen to this scripture, guys.
Listen to what he’s saying here.
And since we have the same spirit of faith according to what is written, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
And if you really wanted to say it in the way the Greek says it, Rick Renner uses a great exploration of the Greek.
He says that faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing.
The more you hear the Word of God, the more you focus on it, the stronger your faith will be.
It’ll be energized.
It’ll come alive.
Everybody will see the life of Jesus inside of your body.
I believe and therefore I spoke.
We also believe and therefore we speak.
What you believe in your heart will come out of your mouth.
Think about this for a minute, folks.
What you believe in your heart will come out of your mouth.
And your words are like your tongue is like a rudder of a great ship.
It will guide your life.
So we must be very careful when the enemy speaks to us in third person and he says things like I’ll never go anywhere and the first thing we say is I’ll never go anywhere.
Don’t do that.
Don’t give place to the devil.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
He’ll run in terror.
Don’t give place to the devil.
Knowing this that he who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus and will present us with you.
For all things are for your sakes, that grace having spread through the many may cause thanksgiving, I’m sorry, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
Woo, that’s wonderful.
That is wonderful, wonderful news.
And then Paul says in verse 16, “Therefore, we do not lose heart.
Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day by day by day.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
Woo.
While we do not look at the things which are seen, here’s the key to faith right here.
Here’s a big key to faith.
While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporary.
These natural things are temporary.
You know, one of our sisters in a church is asking me to pray for a woman who’s got organs that are shutting down.
And she’s a mother of two young children.
And our dear sister is always willing to help.
Always willing to help with this family.
The husband drops them off while he goes to the hospital to see and look after his wife.
I’m telling you, this family is such a giving family.
And it comes back to them.
It comes back to them.
For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Hallelujah.
Man, that is awesome news.
Awesome, awesome, awesome news.
Let’s look at Luke 6:37.
Luke 6:37.
Dear brother Luke, Dr.
Luke.
All right, we’ll start at verse 37.
Judge not and you shall not be judged.
Condemn not and you shall not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give, give, give, and it will be given to you.
Good measure.
I love this.
I love it.
And this is so true, guys.
I can tell you multiple testimonies.
Good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be placed or put into your bosom.
And one version said that men will press into your bosom.
Woo.
For with the same measure that you used, it will be measured back to you.
So the principles of giving and receiving seed time and harvest, seed time and harvest is still a principle in scripture that Jesus talked about himself.
He talked about the sower sows the Word.
He talked about, you know, the seed that fell among the thorny way and all these different types of places and some springs up thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and some a hundredfold.
I don’t know about you, but I want to be in that 100fold realm.

Let’s go to Proverbs 3.
Proverbs 3.
Proverbs chapter 3 and we’re going to start at verse 5.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding.
In all your ways, everything you do, everything that you contemplate, everything that you think about, acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes.
For the Lord, fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.
Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruits of all of your increase.
So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.
My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, neither detest his correction.
For whom the Lord loves, he corrects.
Just as a father, the son in whom he delights.
Happy is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding.
Wow.
