Delaware Gov John Carney said the state was preparing for a flight of illegal immigrants courtesy of Florida’s Gov Ron DeSantis.

Delaware spokesperson Emily David Hershman said,

“We’re aware of the reports and continue to prepare for the possibility of migrants arriving in Delaware unannounced.

Our teams at DEMA and DHSS are working with community organizations and other partners to make sure that migrants who arrive here have the support that they need.

We are coordinating with Federal officials and are prepared to welcome these families in an orderly manner as they pursue their asylum claims.”

Whether or not the illegal immigrants will receive the same type of “warm welcome” as they did from Martha’s Vineyard remains to be seen. Like Martha’s Vineyard, Delaware is a rich, liberal, white community.

 

When incoherent Joe Biden was asked to comment on having DeSantis send a plane full of illegals to an airport near his Delaware estate, he responded “He should come visit. We have a beautiful shoreline.”

 

Texas Gov Abbott and Florida’s DeSantis have gone on offense in dealing with the immigration crises perpetuated by the Biden administration’s open border policies.

DeSantis said, “We are not a sanctuary state…and yes, we will help facilitate the transport for you to be able to go to greener pastures.
He continued,

“Biden would fly people in the middle of the night, dump them all across this country, there was no warning on any of this and all of those people in DC and New York were beating their chests saying they were so proud to be sanctuary jurisdictions, saying how bad it is to have a secure border, the minute even a small fraction of what those border towns deal with every day is brought to their front door, they all the sudden go berserk, and they’re so upset that this is happening it just shows you their virtue signaling is a fraud.”
