The AP often peddled wild conspiracy theories regarding Russian collusion and other unsupported nonsense for four years about the Trump Administration.  They also loved to use the word ‘crisis’ to describe anything negative as it related to the border when Trump was in office, even though he had managed to secure the border significantly during his administration in ways no one else could:

In 2020, The AP went full woke by adjusting their language to cater to rioters and critical race theorists.

Now, they destroy their credibility further by effectively banning words like  ‘crisis’ and all other ’emotive words’ to define the border crisis induced by President* Biden’s Regime.  This just so happens to be in line with The Whitehouse’s policy, as though it were lifted directly from it. Biden’s Border Crisis threatens America’s economy, society, culture, and it is a humanitarian crisis of human trafficking for sex and slavery.  Human trafficking has skyrocketed upon drug cartels’ realization that Biden had been installed as president*.  Drug cartels make billions from trafficking humans for slavery and sex in America, now.  It is said to now be much more lucrative than the drug trade.

In fact, many experts believe it is bigger than ever before–and accelerating, under Biden.

But the AP insists that use of such words, now that Biden is in office, is somehow unacceptable rhetoric.  Yet, the current situation seems to fit multiple definitions for the word in the dictionary:

This has led people like Ted Cruz to call out the sycophantism and obvious hypocrisy of the AP:

The Associated Press seems to only associate itself with the far left and globalism, not free thought, or accuracy, or truth.

The disparity in coverage of Biden’s disastrous handling of the southern border compared to that given to former President Donald J. Trump make it clear: there is no longer a functional press in the United States. The mainstream media now effectively serves as a propaganda arm of the Democratic party.

One more example of how the media is completely in the bag for Biden comes via an internal memo from the Associated Press. The memo instructed reporters and staffers to refrain from using the term “crisis” in stories related to Biden’s border crisis, a position that is held by the White House.

The memo (which was obtained by Futuro Media) called for the moderation of language that would accurately describe what’s really going on at the border. It instead suggested using “accurate and neutral” terms in regard to the flood of illegal immigrants, and that reporters should “avoid hyperbole in calling anything a crisis or an emergency.”

After the contents of the memo were reported, AP posted it online in its entirety.

According to AP; “With immigration and the U.S. border back in the news, it is especially imperative for the AP to consistently use accurate and neutral language in its coverage along with giving proper context to border numbers given the political rhetoric on the topic”

“The current event in the news — a sharp increase in the arrival of unaccompanied minors — is a problem for border officials, a political challenge for Biden and a dire situation for many migrants who make the journey, but it does not fit the classic dictionary definition of a crisis, which is: “A turning point in the course of anything; decisive or crucial time, stage, or event,” OR “a time of, or a state of affairs involving, great danger or trouble, often one which threatens to result in unpleasant consequences [an economic crisis],” AP stated.

The memo then specifically warned staff that “we should avoid, or at the least, be highly cautious, about referring to the present situation as a crisis on our own, although we may quote others using that language.”

Elaborating further on the term, AP added, “If using the word “crisis,” we need to ask of what and to whom. There could be a humanitarian crisis if the numbers grow so large that officials cannot house the migrants safely or in sanitary conditions. Migrants may face humanitarian crises in their home countries. In theory, there could be a security or a border crisis if officials lose control of the border, allowing people to enter unencumbered in large numbers. But, in general, avoid hyperbole in calling anything a crisis or an emergency.”

In referring to immigration as a “hot button” issue AP made it clear that certain terms were forbidden; “we also should try to avoid imagery conjuring war or natural disaster, which could portray migrants as a negative, harmful influence. Avoid emotive words like onslaught, tidal wave, flood, inundation, surge, invasion, army, march, sneak and stealth. Rather, let’s be as neutral as possible while backing up our characterizations with numbers and facts.”

It is unknown whether the White House applied pressure to AP to water down its reportage, or if like the rest of the domestic mainstream media they are just a part of the team.

Despite the media’s protection of Biden and the administration’s own “gag orders” and restrictions on access to border holding facilities, the truth is getting out. The majority of Americans do see the border fiasco as a serious crisis.

According to a new poll by Ipsos that was conducted for ABC, 57% of Americans disapprove of the Biden’s handling of the border crisis. A damning number because it shows that, despite the media efforts at manipulation and concealment, there is no hiding this national disgrace.
