Last week, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced the Democrat Party’s desire to allow 16-year-old’s to vote.
During a press confernce, Pelosi said she personally would support lowering the national voting age to 16.
“I myself, personally, not speaking for my caucus, I myself have always been for lowering the voting age to 16. I think it’s really important to capture kids when they’re in high school when they’re interested in all of this and learning about government to be able to vote.”

On the same day as Pelosi’s press conference, HeadCount.org announced that they would be registering voters at Ariana Grande’s concerts.
The HeadCount.org Twitter profile explains how the leftist group is focused on registering young voters:
We use music to engage Americans with democracy. We’ve registered over 500K voters at concerts, music festivals & online since 2004. Music.Democracy.Action.
The leftist org. recently tweeted about their enthusiasm for registering voters at the concerts of the teen idol, Ariana Grande.
AMAZING NEWS. @ArianaGrande invited us to register voters on her Sweetener tour. Together, we designed #thankunextgen, a program to help Ariana’s fans make their voices heard. Volunteer with us at one of her upcoming shows: https://t.co/sqxDsphgJw pic.twitter.com/r9eixIkrHg

Last month, Ariana Grande performed with Miley Cyrus at a “March For Life” (March for gun-control) rally in Washington D.C.
“This is for those brilliant students here today that are leading this march and for everybody participating today. Thank you so much for fighting for change and for love and safety and for our future,” Grande told the crowd of thousands at the rally.
Breitbart News reports – The “Into You” singer was swept up into controversy in 2015 when she was caught on video saying she hates America and Americans. She later apologized but also claimed her comments were “taken out of context.” Last December, the megastar sent Barack Obama an “I miss you” message.
By adding the voter registration booth, Grande joins musicians and groups such as The Dixie Chicks, Neil Young, Phish, David Crosby, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, and Jay-Z, among others.
What do you think? Should 16 and 17-year-olds be allowed to vote in the United States? Is this a ploy to get indoctrinated students into the voting booth to vote for Democrats. We’d love to hear what you think in the comment section below.
