Michigan has seen a 32% increase in gas prices from the same period last year.
The price of a gallon of gas has set a record high for the past 7 days.
Gas prices are so high that Isabella County Sherriff’s Office has already blown through their annual fuel budget and it’s only June 9th! The Sheriff’s department will now be forced to deal with the crisis by responding to some of the non-emergency calls by phone.
“This would be non-in-progress calls, non-life-threatening calls, calls that do not require evidence collection or documentation,” Sheriff Michael Main said on Facebook.
He said his office is “feeling the pain at the pump.”
Watch:
Gas prices are so high that one Michigan county’s police department has “blown through their fuel budget” and will no longer respond to every 911 call in-person.
Yet, no primetime hearing from Dems to call on Biden to reverse his anti-U.S. energy agenda.pic.twitter.com/oC2o5tudjQ
