It’s a precious right, enshrined in the First Amendment of our Constitution, and something we hold dear.

But it seems like the Biden regime thinks differently.

How else do you explain the shocking revelations by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan?

He’s released internal documents from Meta – yes, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram – that seem to suggest the Biden White House has been pressuring these social media giants to censor posts.

This isn’t just eyebrow-raising, folks.

It’s downright un-American.

Censorship is the kind of thing we expect from authoritarian regimes, not the leaders of the free world.

It flies in the face of everything we stand for as a nation – not least, our fundamental right to free speech.

According to Jordan’s revelations, the Biden White House has been putting the squeeze on Facebook to crack down on what they call ‘misinformation’.

But get this – one of the things they wanted removed was a meme. A harmless, humorous meme about COVID vaccines.

Are we to believe that a simple meme is a threat to national security?

That it’s so dangerous, it warrants being scrubbed from the internet?

It’s ludicrous!

Even more worrying is how the Biden White House apparently dismissed warnings that such censorship would be an incursion into traditional boundaries of free expression in the US. Imagine that!

Disregarding the First Amendment just to control the narrative.

It’s a dark day, friends, when the leaders of our country are willing to trample over the Constitution to silence opposing views.

This kind of behavior doesn’t just erode our rights, it eats away at the very fabric of our democracy.

It’s a slippery slope from here to a place where free thought and expression are relics of a bygone era.

And that’s not a place any true American wants to be.

Shame on this regime, indeed!

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) released internal Meta documents on Thursday that he said were evidence of the White House improperly pressuring Facebook and Instagram into censoring posts.

The congressman said in a thread posted to X that he was unveiling “Part 1” of “The Facebook Files” — which appears to be a nod to the “Twitter Files” — obtained by his panel only after he threatened to move forward with holding Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in contempt of Congress. Jordan said that plan is being placed on hold unless the Big Tech giant stops cooperating with his investigation.

Jordan’s thread, which he said involved “smoking-gun” documents that “prove Facebook censored Americans because of Biden White House pressure,” contained some screenshots of the documents, but not the full correspondence.

“Never-before-released internal documents subpoenaed by the Judiciary Committee PROVE that Facebook and Instagram censored posts and changed their content moderation policies because of unconstitutional pressure from the Biden White House,” Jordan began.

“During the first half of 2021, social media companies like Facebook faced tremendous pressure from the Biden White House — both publicly and privately — to crack down on alleged ‘misinformation,’” Jordan said.

“In April 2021, a Facebook employee circulated an email for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg, writing: ‘We are facing continued pressure from external stakeholders, including the [Biden] White House’ to remove posts,” Jordan said.

“In another April 2021 email, Nick Clegg, Facebook’s president for global affairs, informed his team at Facebook that Andy Slavitt, a Senior Advisor to President Biden, was ‘outraged . . . that [Facebook] did not remove’ a particular post,” Jordan said.

“What did the Biden White House want removed? A meme,” Jordan said, posting a screenshot of a meme concerning COVID vaccines. “That’s right, even memes weren’t spared from the Biden White House’s censorship efforts.”

“When Clegg ‘countered that removing content like that would represent a significant incursion into traditional boundaries of free expression in the US,’ Slavitt disregarded the warning and the First Amendment,” Jordan said.

Friends, I want you to imagine something.

Picture the news reports and social media frenzy if it was revealed that former President Trump had been pressuring social media companies to censor posts.

The outcry would have been deafening, right?

Yet here we are, presented with evidence that suggests the Biden regime has done exactly that, and it’s met with little more than a collective shrug.

Isn’t this alarming?

Isn’t this the very definition of un-American?

Yet, for some reason, more Americans aren’t up in arms about this.

It makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

The released documents suggest that the Biden administration wasn’t just politely suggesting that Facebook take action against misinformation.

No, friends, they were pressuring, pushing, demanding that the social media giant toe the line and censor posts that the Biden regime found ‘problematic’.

That includes even the most harmless of memes about COVID-19 vaccines.

They’ve effectively weaponized the power of government to influence and control what we see and read online.

Missouri Solicitor General John Sauer makes it clear: the speech that was being targeted was lawful, protected by the First Amendment.

Yet the Biden White House didn’t care about that. They just wanted those posts gone.

The New York Post has more details on how the Biden regime pressured social media companies:

The pressure continued to mount on Facebook to remove posts after April 2021 — with Biden saying that July that social media networks were “killing people” by allowing alleged misinformation to circulate.

An internal Aug. 2, 2021, Facebook email said the company’s leadership “asked Misinfo Policy … to brainstorm some additional policy levers we can pull to be more aggressive against … misinformation. This is stemming from the continued criticism of our approach from the [Biden] administration.”

Missouri Solicitor General John Sauer, who worked on a legal case brought by his state and Louisiana over alleged government-requested censorship of social media, testified in March to the Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on the political “weaponization” of government that White House officials including Flaherty were key players in pushing companies to remove posts.

Sauer said evidence indicates that Flaherty led the pressure campaign and that “virtually everything that I can recall here was lawful First Amendment-protected speech that was being targeted.”

“The characterization of them as suggestions is contradicted by overwhelming evidence,” Sauer said. “To call Mr. Flaherty’s communication ‘suggestions’ is akin to saying that the Earth is flat or the moon is made of green cheese.”

Then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki openly said in July 2021 that the White House was “flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation,” including about COVID-19 vaccines, for removal.

Can you believe this, folks?

This isn’t what our forefathers had in mind when they enshrined the First Amendment in our Constitution.

This isn’t freedom of speech.

It’s manipulation and control of what we can say, read, and believe.

It’s a shameful abuse of power, and it’s terrifyingly similar to what we see in fascist regimes.

Folks, this isn’t just about politics.

It’s about our rights and freedoms as Americans.

It’s about standing up against any regime – whether it’s the Trump administration, the Biden regime, or any other – that seeks to stifle our voices and control the narrative.

It’s about preserving the very heart of our democracy, which is founded on the principle of free and open expression.

It’s time for us to wake up and speak out against this blatant infringement on our rights.

Because if we don’t, who will?
