For a minute today on ABC’s “The View”, it almost felt like Megan McCain and Joy Behar might need to take their heated argument outside.
Far left comedian turned political expert, Joy Behar, started out the segment by showing a clip of radical Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) warning that humans need to stop reproducing in order to save the planet.
On Monday, Senate Democrats blocked a bill put forth by Republican Senator Ben Sasse that would provide protections for babies born alive in the case of a botched abortion, or “infanticide.”
After watching the video, where Ocasio-Cortez warned about “young people” wondering if “it’s okay to have children,” the unhinged Joy Behar asked, “shouldn’t people be worried and scared” about the world ending soon? Behar asked, “Don’t climate say we’re on the verge of doomsday?” Behar continued, “To me, like every time there’s a weather report, Al Roker should say, ‘It’s going to be 20 degrees in New York and another polar cap the size of Portugal has just dropped into the East River.” Behar said it was the obligation of the weathermen to keep everyone alarmed over man-made global warming, saying, “the weathermen need to tell us every day how close we’re getting to total disaster on this planet.”
The View co-host Meghan McCain can be seen looking at Behar across the table like she’s a Martian who just landed on the set.
The other far-left host, Sonny Hostin, argued that Behar was correct and shared leftist propaganda to prove her point.
Abby Huntsman, a conservative co-host on The View told Behar, “There’s a difference between caring about our climate and asking a legitimate question about doing away with the human race.” Huntsman laid into the radical freshman Congressman, saying, “Of all the things she’s [Ocasio-Cortez] said, this is by far the most outrageous.”
A furious Meghan McCain interrupted to announce that every Democrat 2020 presidential candidate supported the infanticide bill. After McCain went through the list of Senate Democrats who are running for president in 2020 that voted to block the born alive bill. McCain warned her fellow Democrat activist hosts, “If Democrats want to win an election, going forward, are you going to be the party of late-term abortion? The party of infanticide?” McCain warned that the radical position Democrats have adopted about killing full term babies or babies who are born alive in botched abortions is “well outside of the mainstream” and will not serve the Democrat Party well in the future.
The “pro-life” Hostin attempted to interject her opinion, as she attempted to explain that the bill isn’t really that bad, saying, “I need to push back on that” attempting to say that the bill the Senate Democrats blocked was to provide medical care for infants who survive failed abortions and that it’s extremely rare that this would ever happen.McCain wasn’t going to have any of it, interrupting her and calling it “disgusting’ and “infanticide!”
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act sponsored by Nebraska Republican Senator Ben Sasse, would have required any health care provider present when a child is born alive after an abortion or attempted abortion to exercise the same degree of care they would provide to “any other child born alive at the same gestational age.” The bill would also require them to get the infant to a hospital.
“Ugh! Keep saying it Democrats!” a frustrated Meghan replied.
Joy Behar interrupted Meghan, shouting, “Let her tell her side!” McCain, who appeared to be unable to control her disgust over her co-host’s support of infanticide, continued to call it “disgusting!”
