California, New York, and Illinois all used COVID-19 Relief Funds to push Critical Race Theory in schools
Democrat strongholds across America are pushing for Critical Race Theory to be taught in school. However, some of these states are using Biden’s COVID relief package–which amounted to $1.9 trillion in taxpayer money–to implement CRT by financially incentivizing public schools.
California, New York, and Illinois are among these states.
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, which the Democrats passed in March 2021 without any Republican support, was billed by the Democratic Party as a necessity for reopening schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the law provided over $122 billion for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), which helped multiple states implement “implicit bias” and “anti-racism” training, among other programs, according to research from One Nation shared with and verified by Fox News Digital.
For those unaware, “implicit bias” and “Anti-racism” training in the world of CRT is often linked to teaching people of a particular ethnic or racial group that they are inherently racist.
California was awarded $15.1 billion from the ARP Act, which the California Department of Education used to fund CRT programs in public schools. Their goal was to
“increase educator training and resources” in subjects such as “anti-bias strategies,” “environmental literacy,” “ethnic studies,” and “LGBTQ+ cultural competency,”
Which is all tied to Critical Race Theory and other forms of neo-Marxist Critical Theory.
New York was awarded $9 billion which it used in a similar fashion “putting DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) at the heart of NYSED’s work with” every local education agency.
SEL, or Social Emotional Learning, was also recommended in New York. SEL is similar to CRT in many ways, especially its emphasis on “anti-bias” and “anti-racist” teaching. It is also, like CRT, banned as a public education tool in the state of Florida.
Finally, Illinois was awarded $5.1 billion which it used to support a program affecting those “disproportionately impacted by the pandemic” which incidentally includes almost exclusively the type of marginalized groups catered to by SEL and CRT, such as LGBTQ communities. Although how that group was “disproportionately impacted” is not elaborated on.
CRT is a form of indoctrination used to make kids more racist and to make kids of that same certain ethnic group hate themselves. It’s banned in Florida with good reason. And New York, California, and Illinois are using federal money, at the behest of the Biden regime, to target children with this nonsense.
