NFL superstar quarterback Tom Brady, who used to be friends with Donald Trump, is now reportedly texting with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

According to GOP gubernatorial candidate in Wisconsin, Tim Michels, DeSantis was texting Brady during a Green Bay Packers game last month.

The two political figures were at the Packers game together, when DeSantis reportedly asked Michels, “How do you spell Lambeau?” Michel responded, asking DeSantis, “Who are you texting with?”

“I’m texting with Tom Brady,” DeSantis reportedly revealed. “The governor of Florida gets to text with Tom Brady.”

The NFL star was also friendly with Donald Trump before he became the President of the United States.

Brady and Trump began hanging out in 2001, but after Brady’s marriage to Gisele Bundchen – which may be coming to an end soon – the pair grew apart. This rift in the friendship is reported to have stemmed from the strict diet and lifestyle that Bundchen she forced on Brady.

After the 2016 elections, Brady told the media that his relationship with Trump had been “mischaracterized” all along, and has insisted the two are no longer in touch. Bundchen came out in 2016 after the election to tell the media that she and her husband had not voted for Trump.
