NFL quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen have been at the center of divorce rumors recently, which are looking more likely after a source confirmed both parties have hired divorce attorneys.

Although neither Brady nor Bündchen have addressed the breakup speculation, Bündchen was photographed on Tuesday in Miami without her wedding ring while out with her children. This was the second time this week that the model has been seen without her ring.

The pair married in 2009 and have three young children together. Rumors of an impending separation started circulating after Brady, 45, retired from the NFL last February then unretired.

Bündchen, 42, expressed her concern about Brady returning to the field again, saying, “This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Brady also acknowledged his lack of presence at important times in his family and friends’ lives, such as birthdays and holidays. “I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years and I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years,” Brady said. “I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are born from August to late January, and I’m not able to be at funerals and I’m not able to be at weddings.”

An insider source told People that, while Bündchen has been talking to a divorce lawyer, she is “still talking to Tom about their issues,” suggesting that a divorce is not a certainty yet.

However, another source told Page Six, “I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is.”

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now,” the source added.
