Top Democrat officials prepared to urge Biden not to run in 2024

For a number of obvious reasons, top Democrat officials (Biden’s handlers and co) are ready to eject Biden in 2024.

Biden is an extraordinarily unpopular president, even among standard Democrat voting blocs such as young adults and Hispanics. 58% of Hispanics disapprove of the job Biden is doing, as opposed to the 24% who approve. With adults age 18-34 only 22% approve while 54% disapprove. Biden’s overall approval rating  on economic issues, which most voters rank as their primary concern, stands at 28% while disapproval stands at a staggering 64%, nearly 2/3 of polled Americans.

Biden has failed at everything he has tried to do, unless his goal was destroying America’s economy and global image. He could not pass the cryptic and costly “Build Back Better” plan, he has increased gas and food prices by dramatic amounts, and he botched a pullout in Afghanistan, which gave the Taliban control of the struggling nation, plenty of high-end American military equipment, and cost numerous lives.

Now, the Republicans are set to sweep the Midterm elections, which not only proves how fed up America is with Biden, but how fed up Americans are with the Democrats at large.

For these reasons, 50 top Democrat officials interviewed by the New York Times have stated that Biden should not run for reelection in 2024. This likely includes Biden’s handlers.

From the Daily Mail:

“To say our country was on the right track would flagrantly depart from reality,’ Simeonidis told the Times. “[Biden] should announce his intent not to seek re-election in ’24 right after the midterms.”

Shelia Huggins, another member of the DNC from Durham, North Carolina, was more critical of the president.

“Democrats need fresh, bold leadership for the 2024 presidential race,” she said. “That can’t be Biden.”

This sentiment is echoed across the 50 polled officials. However, they have another problem: The Democrats have no one else to run. If the polls for the Midterms show anything, it’s that Democrats across the nation are currently unpopular–not just Biden. They have no idea who to run in his stead.

Many of the interviewed Democrats instead touted U.S. senators Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Corey Booker, as well as U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Texas gubernatorial hopeful Beto O’Rourke.

Nearly all of the listed people above have failed for the presidency already, with Beto not even being able to win a Senate race. If this is the best they have to offer, then the country may yet be saved. Bad news for them is good news for the nation.
